    Abstract: A phase difference film includes a small change in tint when the film is applied to a display device as a circularly polarizing plate in combination with a polarizer display device being observed from an oblique direction at all azimuthal angles. The film includes optically anisotropic layers X, Y, and Z in this order, in which layer X is an A-plate, and layers Y and Z are formed by fixing a first and second liquid crystal compound, respectively, twist-aligned along a helical axis extending in a thickness direction, one of the first and second liquid crystal compounds are rod-like liquid crystal compounds, the other first and the second liquid crystal compounds are disk-like liquid crystal compounds, and an in-plane slow axis of layer X is parallel to an in-plane slow axis on a surface of layer Y on layer X side.

    Abstract: A laminated film includes a plurality of optically anisotropic layers, excellent in transparency, with few point defects, and exhibits little reflected light where the laminated film is applied to a display device brought into a black display state; and a circularly polarizing plate. The laminated film includes first, second, third, and fourth optically anisotropic layers, in order, in which the first, second, third, and fourth optically anisotropic layers are each formed by fixing an aligned liquid crystal compound, an adhesion layer selected from the group consisting of an adhesive layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on only one of between the first and second optically anisotropic layers, between the second and third optically anisotropic layers, and between the third and fourth optically anisotropic layers, and the laminated film has a minimum transmittance of 60% or more in a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm.

    Abstract: A display device including a laminate includes a wavelength selective absorption layer containing a resin, a dye including at least one of four specific dyes A to D, and an antifading agent for a dye, and includes a gas barrier layer, and a wavelength conversion material; the laminate includes a wavelength selective absorption layer containing a resin, a dye, and an electron migration-type antifading agent in which the energy level of the highest occupied molecular orbital and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital satisfy a specific relational expression in relation to the dye, and includes the gas barrier layer; an organic electroluminescent display device includes this laminate. The gas barrier layer contains a crystalline resin, has a layer thickness of 0.1 μm to 10 μm, has a layer oxygen permeability of 60 cc/m2·day·atm or less, and is directly arranged on at least one surface of the wavelength selective absorption layer.

    Abstract: Provided are a phase difference film that has a small change in tint in a case where the phase difference film is combined with a polarizer and then applied as a circularly polarizing plate to a display device, and the display device is observed from an oblique direction at all azimuthal angles; as well as a circularly polarizing plate and a display device. The phase difference film includes a first optically anisotropic layer, a second optically anisotropic layer, a third optically anisotropic layer, and a fourth optically anisotropic layer in this order, in which the first optically anisotropic layer is a C-plate, the second optically anisotropic layer is an A-plate, the third optically anisotropic layer is a layer formed by fixing a liquid crystal compound twist-aligned along a helical axis extending in a thickness direction, and the first, second third, and fourth optically anisotropic layers have a predetermined configuration.
