Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle includes integrated garage door opener electronics including one or more antennas, and a processor coupled to the integrated garage door opener electronics and in communication with a touch screen. The processor is configured to detect, at the one or more antennas, a garage door opener signal from a garage door opener transmitter, determine, based on the detected garage door opener signal, one or more characteristics of a respective garage door opener associated with the garage door opener transmitter, and in accordance with a determination that instructions for programming the integrated garage door opener electronics to operate the respective garage door opener are available, display, on the touch screen, the instructions for programming the integrated garage door opener electronics to operate the respective garage door opener.

The system may also include at least one processor configured to: extract an action to be performed according to the voice command, locate a second device implicated by the voice command to perform the action, access data related to the second device from a storage device based on the voice command, and generate a control signal based on the data for actuating a control on at least one of the first device and the second device according to the voice command.

Abstract: A remote access system for a vehicle may include at least one receiver configured to detect a location of a mobile device, and a controller having a processor. The processor may be configured to determine an association of the mobile device to an authorized user when the mobile device is within a first range from the vehicle, and authenticate the user when the mobile device is within a second range from the vehicle, wherein the second range is smaller than the first range. The processor may also be configured to determine a vehicle function to perform based on data associated with the mobile device or the user, and perform the vehicle function when the mobile device is within a third range from the vehicle and the user is authenticated, wherein the third range is smaller than the second range.
