摘要: A light emitting device and a projection system adopting same. The light emitting device comprises a coherent source generating coherent light, a diffusing element, and a light guide part. The diffusing element includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The diffusing element disperses the coherent light to generate incoherent light. The light guide part is provided on the side of the first surface of the diffusing element and guides the coherent light from the coherent source onto the first surface to form a first light path, guides a part of incoherent light from the first surface through the first light path, guides the remaining incoherent light through a second path, and separates the first and second light paths. The luminous flux of the incoherent light emitting through the first light path is less than that of the incoherent light emitting through the second light path.

摘要: A light emitting device and a projection system adopting same. The light emitting device (100) comprises a coherent source (110), a diffusing element (120), and a light guide part (140). The coherent source (110) is used for generating coherent light. The diffusing element (120) includes a first surface (121) and a second surface (122) which are opposite to each other, and the diffusing element (120) is used for dispersing the coherent light coming from the coherent source (110) so as to generate incoherent light. The light guide part (140) is provided on the side of the first surface (121) of the diffusing element (120). The light guide part (140) is used for guiding the coherent light emitting from the coherent source (110) to be incident on the first surface (121) so as to form a first light path, guiding a part of incoherent light emitting from the first surface (121) to emit through the first light path, guiding the remaining incoherent light to emit through a second path, and separating the first path and the second path. The luminous flux of the incoherent light emitting through the first light path is less than that of the incoherent light emitting through the second light path.

摘要: A method and apparatus for a color filter that utilizes a wavelength conversion material such as phosphor to filter an input light. The input light contains unwanted shorter wavelength light and wanted longer wavelength light. The wavelength conversion material converts the light in the unwanted shorter wavelength range to the wanted longer wavelength range, and transmits the light in the wanted longer wavelength range, to generate an output light in the longer wavelength range. The filter may be a transmissive type of a reflective type. The filter may be constructed as a moving filter such as a rotating wheel.

摘要: A white balance adjustment method and apparatus for a single DLP projector system is disclosed. The projection system includes a solid state light source device, a sync signal generator, and a controller. The light source device generates an output which is a repeating color sequence of at least two primary color lights. The sync signal generator generates a synchronization signal representing a timing of the color sequence of the output light. The controller calculates drive current values corresponding to each of the two primary colors based on a target white balance and measured color properties of the output light, and supplies a modulated drive current to the light source device. The modulated drive current is synchronized to the sync signal and has the calculated drive current values. As a result, a white light having the target white balance is output.

摘要: A white balance adjustment method and apparatus for a single DLP projector system is disclosed. The projection system includes a solid state light source device, a sync signal generator, and a controller. 摘要: Described is a hierarchical filtered motion field technology such as for use in recognizing actions in videos with crowded backgrounds. Interest points are detected, e.g., as 2D Harris corners with recent motion, e.g. locations with high intensities in a motion history image (MHI). A global spatial motion smoothing filter is applied to the gradients of MHI to eliminate low intensity corners that are likely isolated, unreliable or noisy motions. At each remaining interest point, a local motion field filter is applied to the smoothed gradients by computing a structure proximity between sets of pixels in the local region and the interest point. The motion at a pixel/pixel set is enhanced or weakened based on its structure proximity with the interest point (nearer pixels are enhanced).

摘要: Described is providing an action model (classifier) for automatically detecting actions in video clips, in which unlabeled data of a target dataset is used to adaptively train the action model based upon similar actions in a labeled source dataset. The target dataset comprising unlabeled video data is processed into a background model. The action model is generated from the background model using a source dataset comprising labeled data for an action of interest. The action model is iteratively refined, generally by fixing a current instance of the action model and using the current instance of the action model to search for a set of detected regions (subvolumes), and then fixing the set of subvolumes and updating the current instance of the action model based upon the set of subvolumes, and so on, for a plurality of iterations.
