    摘要: The present disclosure provides coatings for filaments that enhance the resistance of a filament to cuts and/or abrasions. Depending upon the material utilized to form the filament to be coated, the appropriate coating in the appropriate amount may be selected to coat the filament thereby imparting resistance to abrasions and cuts to the filament. The resulting filament may be utilized to form filamentous devices including sutures and meshes.
