摘要: Improved systems and techniques for identification and resolution of conditions affecting an information technology system. When an alert is received, it is identified as actionable or non-actionable and, if non-actionable, is subjected to a waiting time before a trouble ticket is created. If the alert has cleared by the time the waiting time expires, an event associated with the alert is discarded and no trouble ticket is created. Non-actionable alerts are identified using a system of predictive rules, with rules being generated according to appropriate criteria, such as the likelihood that an event identified by a rule will be non-actionable, and by the likelihood that an event will be identified by a rule.

摘要: A method of ranking workers for an incoming task includes recording a list of completed tasks in a computer data structure, extracting first attributes from the list for the tasks that were completed during a pre-determined period, generating a first feature vector for each task and worker from the first extracted attributes, training a Support Vector Machine (SVM) based on the feature vector to output a weight vector, extracting second attributes from an incoming task, generating a second feature vector for each worker based on the second extracted attributes, and ranking the workers using the second feature vectors and the weight vector. The first attributes may be updated during a subsequent period to re-train the SVM on updated first feature vectors to generate an updated weight vector. The workers may be re-ranked based on the second feature vectors and the updated weight vector. Accordingly, the feature vectors are dynamic.

摘要: Process management techniques using a representation state transfer architecture include, for example, a method of managing a given process in a data-centric manner in a client/server environment, comprising at least one client and at least one server. In an exemplary method, the server obtains from the client at least one request associated with the given process. In response to the request obtained from the client, the server generates an entity, wherein the generated entity is represented in terms of a data model and a lifecycle model associated therewith, wherein the lifecycle model comprises states and state transitions with each transition caused by one or more activities in the given process, and wherein the given process is represented as a collection of communicating entities. The server sends a response to the at least one request to the client, wherein the response is based at least in part on the generated entity.

摘要: Execution of flexible workflows using artifacts is described. A workflow execution engine is configured to instantiate a process execution (PE) artifact. The PE artifact includes one or more transitions. The workflow execution engine is further configured to execute the one or more transitions and determine if any of the one or more transitions are new or modified. The workflow execution engine is additionally configured to load and execute new or modified transitions, without reinstantiating the PE artifact, responsive to determining that at least one new or modified transitions exist.
