    摘要: An extracorporeal blood chamber (12) comprises an expansion reservoir (47) having a first access (48) arranged laterally and a second access (49) arranged on the bottom of the chamber (12). The chamber comprises, integrally with the reservoir, a first conduit terminating in the first access, a second conduit terminating in the first access, and a third conduit terminating in the second access. The extracorporeal blood enters the reservoir through the first conduit and there mixes with an infusion fluid which enters through the second conduit. The resulting mixture exits through the third conduit. The chamber is used in a hemo(dia)filtration apparatus to mix the blood optimally with the replacement fluid.

    摘要: In a blood transfer chamber, a filter (4) is arranged at an outlet located on a bottom of the chamber. The filter is truncoconical with a vertically-disposed axis. The filter has a plurality of openings (13, 14) for fluid passage, a size of which openings increases gradually in an upwards direction going from bottom to top of the chamber. The filter is used in a venous air-blood separation chamber of a dialysis set. The invention enables a reduction of a risk of hemolysis during treatment as well as a reduction of the risk of formation of air bubble retention in the filter during a priming stage.

    摘要: In a blood transfer chamber, a filter (4) is arranged at an outlet located on a bottom of the chamber. The filter is truncoconical with a vertically-disposed axis.     摘要: An extracorporeal blood circuit, comprising an expansion chamber for air-blood separation, wherein a filter (38) retains the solid particles in the blood. The filter has a trunco-conical filtering wall with a vertical axis surmounted by a top head (43) provided with upper openings (44) conformed and arranged such as to define a fluid passage which is asymmetrical with respect to the vertical axis. The top head does not retain air bubbles internally thereof, thus preventing a situation in which the air bubbles are directed towards an outlet of the expansion chamber and thus towards the patient. The extracorporeal circuit is used in a dialysis apparatus.

    摘要: In an infusion circuit (1), a peristaltic pump (7) displaced the infusion fluid along a line (3), sourcing it from a batch container (2). When a weight sensor (5) detects an emptying of the batch container (2), the pump is halted. If on stopping the pump the pressure measured by a sensor (6) operating in an expansion chamber (4) does not drop in excess of a predetermined threshold with respect to a non-empty container (2), a non-secure situation is signalled, due to an excessive quantity of air in the expansion chamber.

    摘要: In an infusion apparatus, an infusion line (4) connects a container (2) of an infusion fluid to an extracorporeal blood circuit (23). A first valve (6) closes the infusion line downstream of an infusion pump (5). An expansion chamber (9), provided with a pressure sensor (10), is arranged between the infusion pump and the first valve. A second valve (8) closes a vent line (7) of the expansion chamber. The processor closes the first valve when the container is emptied. After replacement with a new and full container, the processor restarts the pump and selectively opens the first valve or the second valve according to the increase in pressure measured in the expansion chamber.
