摘要: An apparatus for controlled delivery of a liquid consists of a delivery unit which comprises a liquid container (3) having at least one movable wall (12) and a liquid outlet which is provided with a flow restriction, and a power unit which comprises a second container (21) which also has at least one movable wall (29) and wherein a vacuum may be established, and a mechanical coupling (31) between the movable wall (12) of the liquid container(3) and the movable wall (29) of the second container (21). The delivery unit and the power unit are connected together coaxially when the apparatus is prepared for delivery, and in this connecting together, the movable wall (29) of the second container is displaced by means of the mechanical coupling (31) such that the vacuum is established. The ambient atmospheric pressure then acts against this vacuum, and this pressure is transmitted by the mechanical coupling (31), which is directly acting on the movable wall (12) of the liquid container (3) such that the liquid is forced out through the outlet (4) and the restriction therein.

摘要: The invention concerns an injection device (1) receiving in exchangeable manner an ampoule (4) with a plunger (5) and an injection needle (6). It further comprises an actuation means (7) essentially consisting of an operating head (8), a drive element (11), a guide element (24) and an output member (9, 19) preferably in the form of a rod (9) and flange (19). The output member is non-rotatably affixed to the guide element (11) itself rigidly mounted inside the device (1) and seated by its own thread in an internal thread (27) of the drive element (11) which can be displaced axially and into rotation by the manual operating head (8). When rotating the operating head (8), the output member (9, 19) is advanced and in the process forces forward the plunger (5), the result being injection. The stationary guide element (24) of the disclosed device is located axially ahead of the axially displaceable drive element (11). Accordingly the length of the actuation system (7) is shorter than in state-of-the-art injection devices, whereby a larger maximum dose can be injected with a device (1) of the same length. The device (1) is applicable in medicine.

摘要: The invention relates to an injection device for injecting a selectable dose of a liquid substance from an ampoule, located in an ampoule holder, comprising a piston and a sleeve-shaped mechanism holder, in the interior of which a longitudinally shiftable shaft is provided, the shaft being surrounded by an also longitudinally shiftable advancing sleeve coupled thereto. For selecting a dose of the liquid substance to be injected, a dosing sleeve with a stepped member is provided, the dose to be respectively administered being adjustable by a rotation of the dosing sleeve with the stepped member. The adjusted dose is readable via a dose imprint on the dosing sleeve. The actually possibly administrable dose can be read on a dose scale, fastened to the advancing sleeve, by means of the cooperation of a stop, fastened to the lower end area of the advancing sleeve, with a partition member, fastened to the shaft, the advancing sleeve being, as a result of this mechanism, then no longer movable if the supply of the ampoule is completely used up.

摘要: A component filter device which is added to a new or existing multi-chamber septic tank to filter the effluent of the septic tank to improve the quality of the water entering a method of dispersal. The device uses a spiral wound membrane filter to filter the effluent. The membrane filter contains open channel spacers to channel the bubbles which scour the membrane leaves. An air lift pump is used to pump permeate. A three-way actuator valve directs the airflow to either the pump or to a bubble diffuser. A two-way actuator valve directs the flow of permeate. A low water indicator directs the operation of the device. The device uses bubble scouring and back washing to clean the membrane leaves. A blower, two actuator valves and a low water indicator are the only moving parts of the device.

摘要: Event participants in attendance at a plurality of different event venues can locate, edit and print images of themselves in their respective seating locations. A venue database is provided that contains data for a plurality of venues. For each venue, the venue database includes past events that occurred at the venue for a predetermined past time period and the associated event date, a venue seating chart, event participant images captured at past events at a plurality of different seating locations, and data related to the event type for at least some of the past events. The user searches the data in the venue database to identify a past event of interest. A venue seating chart associated with the past event of interest is displayed, the user selects a seating location on the seating chart, and one or more event participant images captured at the past event of interest at the selected seating location is displayed. The user selects one or more of the images and applies a plurality of different image editing functions to the image via a user interface display screen. The edited images can be stored and/or printed.

摘要: An exchangeable prefilled syringe (4) is arranged in the front part (2) of the device. In the rear part (1), a gear mechanism (3) is arranged, the drive member of which is a driving sleeve (10) provided with a manipulating head (11), and the driven member of which is a threaded rod (12) mounted non-rotationally but longitudinally displaceably in the driving sleeve. The threaded rod (12) is seated in the female thread (22) of a gear element (20) which can be advanced, by exerting pressure on the manipulating head (11) in the axial longitudinal direction from a rest position into an end position against the force of a spring (26).In the rest position of the gear element (20), the threaded rod (12), located at a distance from the plunger (5) of the prefilled syringe (4), is threaded, by rotating the manipulating head (11), through the female thread (22) of the gear element (20) in correspondence with a plunger path required for the amount of liquid to be respectively injected, without the threaded rod (12) abutting against the plunger (5) during this step. Thereafter, the needle (7) is inserted, and the gear element (20) is advanced, by exerting pressure on the manipulating head (11), from the rest position into the end position. During the advancing stroke (h), the threaded rod (12) abuts against the plunger (5) and advances the latter in correspondence with the preselected plunger path. The device makes it possible to preselect an arbitrary amount of liquid by a corresponding rotation of the manipulating head (11) and to inject this amount of liquid, after insertion of the needle, by means of a single pressure exertion on the head (11).
