    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay including: an electromagnet; a movable spring having a movable contact; a first terminal to which one end of the movable spring is connected; a second terminal having a fixed contact opposite to the movable contact; an actuator that rotates by excitation of the electromagnet, rotates the movable spring, and causes the movable contact to come in contact with the fixed contact or to separate from the fixed contact; a nonmagnetic card to be attached to the actuator; a plurality of magnetic members that sandwich the movable contact and the fixed contact, and apply a magnetic flux to the movable contact and the fixed contact to extend an arc; and a permanent magnet attached between the magnetic members.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes: a pair of fixed contact terminals, each of which has a fixed contact; a movable contact spring having a pair of movable pieces and a coupler coupling the pair of movable pieces, each of the movable pieces having a movable contact that contacts and is separated from the fixed contact; an armature having a flat plate to be adsorbed to an iron core and a hanging portion bent from the flat plate and extending downward, and moves the movable contact spring by a rotation operation; and an electromagnetic device driving the armature, wherein the hanging portion has a projection to fix the movable contact spring on a face thereof facing the electromagnetic device and a pulling portion that extends downward more than the projection and pulls the movable contact spring when a current flows between the fixed contact and the movable contact.

    Abstract: A polarized electromagnetic relay including an electromagnet; a pair of magnetic pole pieces driven by the electromagnet; a permanent magnet attached to the magnetic pole pieces; a contact section including a first fixed contact member with a normally open fixed contact, a first movable contact member with a normally open movable contact, a second fixed contact member with a normally closed fixed contact, and a second movable contact member with a normally closed movable contact; and a transmission member to which the magnetic pole pieces is attached. In accordance with a rectilinear movement of the magnetic pole pieces in parallel to a coil center axis, the transmission member rectilinearly moves in parallel to the center axis and thereby causes the normally open and closed movable contacts to perform an opening or closing operation in a mutually interlocked manner.

    Abstract: Provided is a relay, with which an insulation distance can be maintained while preventing an increase in size of the relay. The relay has a coil, an iron core, an armature which moves by excitation of the coil, a contact terminal which displaces in accordance with the movement of the armature, a pressing member which is attached to the armature and which presses the contact terminal, and a base block having a wall arranged between a first area in which the coil and the iron core are arranged, and a second area in which the contact terminal and the pressing member are arranged, wherein the armature comprises a first portion arranged in the first area and a second portion extending from the first portion and arranged in the second area, and the pressing member is affixed to the second portion.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a contact that includes a fixed contact and a movable contact, a permanent magnet provided on the peripheral side of the contact, and a non-magnetic body. The movable contact is displaceable in a first direction to move toward the fixed contact and in a second direction to move away from the fixed contact. The permanent magnet has a polarity direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. The non-magnetic body faces toward the direction of a Lorentz force that acts based on the permanent magnet in a direct electric current flowing through the contact.
