摘要: In an instant, self-developing, and folding camera, a built-in flash unit is disabled as long as the camera is folded. According to another aspect, the flash is disabled after each photograph until the feed motor that drives the film during development has completed its operation. A collapsible bellows forms a dark space between first and second housing sections. When the bellows are folded the flash is drawn to the first section by coupling means. When the bellows are extended the coupling means draws the flash into an operative position.

When the housing is extended, the flash may be set either in an operative enabled position outside the regular housing contours or in the inoperative disabled position within the contours.

摘要: The present invention relates to a camera using a photo-sensitive sheet material of self developing process type, which can actuate a photo-sensitive material take out device to take out the exposed photo-sensitive material sheet material to outside of the camera while conducting self developing process thereon, selectively by an electric motor or manually, and has a checking device to check whether or not the voltage of a battery to drive said electric motor is at a level to be able to properly activate said photo-sensitive material take out device, further has a means to direct to stop power supply to said motor when the voltage of said battery is below said level and to activate said photo-sensitive take out device manually.

摘要: The present invention relates to an exposure control device for a camera for obtaining a proper exposure taking the differences of the films to be used into consideration, so designed that an exposure amount control circuit for controlling an exposure amount by means of a first light measuring circuit for measuring the light reflected from the film plane is provided, while a second light measuring circuit for measuring the light reflected from the shutter plane and/or the film plane is provided in such a manner that by means of the output of the second light measuring circuit the control output value of the exposure amount control circuit is compensated so as to obtain a proper exposure amount.

摘要: A camera wherein a front housing which contains a photographing optical system, an exposure device, etc. is connected by a foldable connecting device such as a bellows or the like to a rear housing which contains a photosensitive material to be exposed to light, a view finder optical system, etc. During photographing, the foldable connecting device is stretched to adjust the distance between the front and rear housings to a distance suitable for photographing. When the camera is not in use, the connecting device is contracted to being the front and rear housings very close to each other. An electrical wiring arrangement of a flexible material is either provided on the surface of the bellows or formed together with the bellows as an integral part of the bellows when it is formed in such a way as to be stretchable and contractable together with the bellows, the wiring service to electrically connect the components disposed in the front housing to those disposed in the rear housing. In our embodiment, a main switch disposed in the rear housing is operable from a switch control device in the front housing when the bellows is fully expanded.

摘要: A liquid crystal cell is provided within a camera viewfinder. In the cell, a liquid crystal is sandwiched between a resistance layer mounted on a substrate and another substrate-mounted layer which may be either resistive or conductive. Suitable means mask at least the end portions of the display of the liquid crystal cell. In operation, voltages corresponding to photographic conditions are applied to the layers to produce analog data indicative of photographic conditions.

摘要: In the disclosed liquid crystal display system, one of two opposing base plates that sandwich an electrooptic liquid crystal between them is divided into separate electrodes or constitutes a homogeneous transparent resistance. A source of power energizes this electrode so as to produce a gradient or stepped voltages between the divisions, and a data voltage is applied to the other electrode so that one section of the sandwiched electrodes can effect light differently than the other sections and thereby display information.

摘要: A display device comprising a first semiconductor stripe and a second stripe of composite structure in which a great number of successive areas alternate between a semiconductor material having different type with respect to that of the first stripe and an insulating material or materials and which is positioned in side-by-side contact relation to the first stripe to establish P-N junctions. A resistor stripe connected lengthwise to the second stripe so that a voltage proportional to a value of information which is desired to be displayed is applied across a third stripe when first stripe is negatively biased, a corresponding number of successive semiconductor areas in the second stripe are caused to emit visible light, giving a viewer the impression of a continuous luminous stripe having a length representative of the information value.
