摘要: A visible light communication apparatus is constituted with a transmitter for illuminating and projecting visible light on which an information signal is superimposed from a lamp fitting and a receiver for receiving the visible light to take out the information signal superimposed on the visible light. The transmitter modulates a transmission information signal, driving a light projecting element of the lamp fitting so as to superimpose the transmission information signal on the visible light of the lamp fitting, thereby radiating white light containing a blue light component as visible illumination light. The receiver receives the white visible light containing the blue light component radiated from the transmitter and generates a receiving information signal from the light receiving signal on a receiving circuit. A blue light photodiode which receives blue light at the highest sensitivity to output a light receiving signal is used as a light receiving element of the light receiving unit. The lamp fitting for radiating the white light containing the blue light component on the side of the transmitter as visible illumination light and the blue light photodiode for receiving blue light on the side of the receiver at the highest sensitivity can be used to perform visible light communications at high speed, while illuminating by the white light.

摘要: An audio signal reception type vocalizing toy is worn and used by a user as a visitor in a customer attraction facility. A light receiving unit having a light receiving element for receiving visible light through a condensing lens is attached to the front of a wear type toy body. An amplifier and filter circuit are provided in the wear type toy body, the amplifier amplifying a signal output from the light receiving unit, and the filter circuit integrating a digital signal output from the amplifier into an analog audio signal and outputting it to a speaker(s). The speaker(s) is (are) attached into the wear type toy body. When the user wears the vocalizing toy and directs the light receiving unit in the front of the wear type toy body to a visible light source of a visible light transmitter for superimposing and projecting an audio signal on visible light in the customer attraction facilities, the light receiving unit receives the visible light and picks up the audio signal contained in the light reception signal, and sound containing music, voice, etc., is generated by the speaker.

摘要: The reflective collection-type light receiving unit of the present invention is a reflective collection-type light receiving unit having a light receiving element which receives spatial light on which an information signal is superimposed after being reflected and collected via a concave mirror. The light receiving element is arranged approximately at the center inside the concave mirror, with the light receiving plane thereof facing to the reflection plane of the concave mirror. A pair of electrode leads connected to both electrodes of the light receiving element are extended so as to be opened from the center on the front plane of the concave mirror to both sides and connected to a light receiving circuit by way of the lateral plane of the concave mirror.

摘要: An exposure head wherein a light-shielding panel having enclosing openings capable of receiving individual LED chips, and a front surface panel having small openings are disposed at a front surface of an LED panel in which the LED chips are arranged, is provided. In the exposure head, the LED chips and bonding wires can be housed in the enclosing openings, and can be protected from a medium to be exposed, by the front surface panel. Therefore, each dot can be irradiated with exposure light from the LED chips, which are disposed close to the photosensitive medium, so that each dot can be exposed without using a lens system. The inside surfaces of the enclosing openings are made reflective to prevent exposure light from leaking from the cells in which the individual LED chips are housed, into other LED chip cells, so that each dot can be exposed to high-intensity exposure light. Therefore, it is possible to provide a small-size and low-price exposure head capable of performing good-quality and high-resolution printing without color bleeding or the like, and a low-price printing apparatus employing the exposure head.

摘要: In an exposure apparatus for exposing a photosensitive medium using light-emitting elements, correction to account for environmental conditions at the time of exposure that change is performed by dynamically changing the value of current or voltage to be supplied to the LEDs. Thereby, control of exposure duration can be performed solely for expression of multi-gradation levels, so that a very high resolution is not required for the control of exposure duration. Therefore, it is possible to realize a low-price exposure apparatus capable of printing multi-gradation images. For exposure to a single color using a plurality of LEDs, the gradation level to be expressed by the individual LEDs is cyclically changed, so that the construction of gradation level control for each LED can be simplified. Further, since the LEDs can be used at substantially equal duties, the individual variation of LEDs does not evidently show. It is also possible to prevent an inconvenient incident where a particular LED deteriorates.
