Abstract:
A system for transferring liquid natural gas from a ship to a facility, the transfer system comprising: a hoisting device which is designed to be secured on the deck of the ship; a mobile chassis, which is supported by the hoisting device; a first on-board pipe, for transferring liquid natural gas from the ship to the facility, said first on-board pipe being supported by the mobile chassis; and a second on-board pipe for the transport of inert gas, said second on-board pipe being supported by the mobile chassis comprising a first connection element which is associated with the second duct, and being connected to the first on-board pipe between the valve and the second connection element of the first on-board pipe.
Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulating tank for storing a low-temperature liquefied gas, having an insulating box-section with a bottom panel coming into abutment on a support wall, by means of sealant beads disposed between the support wall and the bottom panel, the sealant beads being disposed in the form of at least one closed outline delimiting at least one confined space between the support wall and the bottom panel, the bottom panel having at least one through passage leading into the confined space to allow gas to circulate between the confined space and an internal space of the insulating box-section.
Abstract:
A securing device for securing a pipe in a housing, which has a cylindrical collar, at least three securing arms, each securing arm containing a proximal arm portion mounted on the cylindrical collar, a distal arm portion bearing a bearing pad, the bearing pad containing a bearing surface facing away from the collar and intended to collaborate with a wall of the housing in which at least one of the securing arms contains a guideway capable of translationally guiding the distal arm portion with respect to the proximal arm portion, an elastic member being coupled to the guideway so as to be able to apply a return force that pushes the distal arm portion away from the proximal arm portion.
Abstract:
A system for transfer of a fluid between a ship and a facility having a mast, at least one fluid transfer line which extends along the mast, and at least one duct suspended on the distal end of the mast, which is firstly connected to the fluid transfer line, and secondly equipped with a connection element which is designed to cooperate with a manifold of the facility. The duct has a first, rigid portion and a second, flexible portion, and a rigidification element which is fitted such as to be mobile along the duct between a position for rigidification of the flexible portion and a position of release.
