    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for controlling an output of a gas generator via an operator manipulated input device. The system includes one or more sensors measuring one or more environmental conditions, a gas generator shaft speed, and a power turbine torque. The system further includes an operator manipulated input device and one or more controllers including one or more processors and one or more memory devices. The one or more memory devices stores instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving, via an operator manipulated input device, a throttle lever position defining at least an idle position, a takeoff position, and one or more intermediate positions therebetween; receiving, via one or more sensors, one or more environmental conditions, wherein the environmental condition includes one or more of an ambient air temperature, an ambient air pressure, and an ambient airflow rate; determining, via the controller, a first commanded fuel flow of the gas generator based on a gas generator speed output curve based at least on the throttle lever position, the one or more environmental conditions, and a coefficient reference table; determining, via the controller, a second commanded fuel flow of the gas generator based on a power turbine torque output curve based at least on the one or more environmental conditions; and generating, via the gas generator, a gas generator output based on the first commanded fuel flow or the second commanded fuel flow.

    Abstract: An oil transfer unit has a rotating part extending along an axis, a stationary part provided with an oil mouth, and a floating part having a cylindrical surface fitted onto an outer cylindrical surface of the rotating part in a non-contact configuration; an annular groove is provided between the floating part and the rotating part to put the oil mouth into communication with an inner chamber of the rotating part; both sides of the groove are sealed by a hydrostatic seal defined by a radial gap between the cylindrical surfaces; the unit has at least one oil transfer tube, coupled to the stationary part and the floating part in a fluid-tight manner and with freedom of movement, and a connecting rod to prevent rotation of the floating part; the opposite ends of the connecting rod are coupled to the stationary part and floating part by respective spherical joints.

    Abstract: A filtering net, in particular for a rotary separator, has a plurality of cells, which are substantially equal to one another and are defined by the replication of a base cell along two transversal directions of replication; the base cell comprises at least one intermediate filament and a first and a second end filament, arranged on opposite sides of the intermediate filament; the intermediate filament and the end filaments extend along respective longitudinal axes which are parallel; cross-sectioning the base cell with any plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axes of the filaments and joining, on said plane, the trace of each longitudinal axis with the trace of the adjacent longitudinal axis by a respective straight line, the two straight lines are incident at the trace of the longitudinal axis of the intermediate filament and form an incidence angle of between approximately 90° and 160°.
