    摘要: A device for connecting interchangeable pneumatic tools to manipulators is provided. The device includes a body, fixable to a manipulator, provided with a plurality of seats for accommodating pins for engaging a tool, ducts for feeding a working fluid to the tool, where the ducts extend in the device body, an engaging mechanism which can be activated for constraining and releasing, respectively, the tool to/from the device, and means for closing the ducts. For safety purposes the device is arranged such that the activation of the engaging mechanism for unlocking the tool is always achievable upon the reaching of the complete closing of the ducts by the respective closing means. This way a quick depressurization of the tool is prevented from occurring at the separation from the device, this latter circumstance being conventionally dangerous for the tool replacement operator.

A transmission assembly is operatively interposed between the electric motor and the jaws, and includes in its turn two pushing screws (V1, V2) and respective translation assemblies (GT1, GT2). The rotation given by the electric motor (M) to the counter rotating pushing screws (V1, V2) causes the translation in opposite directions of the translation assemblies (GT1, GT2), which trail the jaws (G1, G2).

    摘要: A protective casing of a gripper for industrial automation is described, having two or more jaws, which makes the gripper also usable in clean-room. The casing comprises a base fixable to an outer actuator, for example a robotic arm, and a dome. The dome and the base are air tightly constrainable one to another and they together define a chamber for housing the gripper. The dome is provided with through slots at the jaws of the gripper; the edges of the through slots air tightly adhere to the corresponding jaw. At least the portion of the dome at the through slots is elastically deformable to follow the movements of the jaws. Preferably, the dome and the base are coupled and flush in order to limit or prevent particles or dust from building up between interstices.
