    摘要: An apparatus for testing a vessel wall includes a rail and a carriage running on the rail. An inclining and swiveling telescoping arm has an end being pivotably connected to the carriage and a free end. The telescoping arm has curved members with U-shaped cross sections. A drive mechanism for extending and retracting the telescoping arm includes a pusher tube having tensile strength and resistance to compression for driving the members in common and a motor for driving the pusher tube. A test unit is carried by the free end of the telescoping arm and a data line is connected between the test unit and an evaluation unit.

    摘要: Circuit layout for the actuation of liquid crystal layers, formed by flip-flops (4, 5) arranged in the feeder lines of the conducting layers, with a common dimmer-IC preceding the reset inlets (R) and synchronized in a frequency dependent manner, wherein the flip-flops (4, 5) are timed synchronously, so that their preparatory inlets (4/5, 5/9) are actuated with a phase shift of 180.degree. and the clocking inlets (4/3, 5/11) are timed with the double frequency of the preparatory inlets (4/5, 5/9). The timing means consists of an oscillator (10a) and a decoupling gate (10b), the outlets of which are connected with a frequency divider, each (8, 9) preceding the dimmer-IC (7) and the flip-flops (4, 5), of which the frequency divider (9) preceding the flip-flops (4, 5) serves as an alternator, the inverted outlets (9/1, 9/2) of which are connected with a preparatory inlet (4/5, 3/9) of the flip-flops (4, 5). The liquid crystal layer, the conducting layers arranged on transparent support layers and one of the polarizing filter layers are combined in a composite, while the other polarizing filter layer is formed in a spaced apart support.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device (10) with a substrate (11) and a semiconductor body (12) comprising silicon which is provided with at least one semiconductor element (T), wherein an epitaxial semiconductor layer (1) comprising silicon is grown on top of a first semiconductor substrate (14), wherein a splitting region (2) is formed in the epitaxial layer (1), wherein a second substrate (11) is attached by wafer bonding to the first substrate (12) at the side of the epitaxial layer (1) provided with the splitting region (2) while an electrically insulating region (3) is interposed between the epitaxial layer (1) and the second substrate (11), the structure thus formed is split at the location of the splitting region (2) as a result of which the second substrate (11) forms the substrate (11) with on top of the insulating region (3) a part (IA) of the epitaxial layer forming the semiconductor body (12) in which the semiconductor element (T) is formed. According to the invention for the thickness of the epitaxial layer (1) a thickness is chosen that is larger than about 3 μm. Preferably, the thickness is chosen between 5 and 15 μm. Best results are obtained with a thickness in the range of 7 to 13 μm. Devices 10, in particular high-voltage FETs, are obtained easily and with high yield and uniform properties like leakage current. The invention also comprises a method of manufacturing an SOI structure 12 and an SOI structure 12 thus obtained.
