    摘要: Techniques are generally described that relate to a method and system for verifying the presentment of an advertisement on a multi-platform system that comprises a plurality of telecommunication platforms, each capable of being accessed by a subscriber over a single transmission medium. A monitoring computer presents an advertisement over a first telecommunication platform. The advertisement is targeted to the subscriber. A monitoring computer selects a monitoring criteria based at least in part on the presented advertisement. The subscriber's use of a second telecommunication platform is monitored by the monitoring computer based on the selected monitoring criteria. The monitoring computer reports a subscriber behavior observed on the second telecommunication platform that is commensurate with the selected monitoring criteria.

The method includes: assigning, by a Coaxial-cable Line Terminal (CLT), a QoS level for a user terminal; sending, by the CLT, relevant information of the assigned QoS level to a Coaxial-cable Network Unit (CNU); and determining, by the CNU, a QoS level for a packet sent by the user terminal according to the relevant information of the assigned QoS level. A system for determining QoS level is provided. The system includes: a CLT and a CNU. A CLT and a CNU are also provided. The solution enables a coaxial-cable network unit to satisfy the QoS requirements of user terminals, and reduces the producing cost of the coaxial-cable network unit.

The user is associated with a user identity, each network access point with a network access point identity. The user uses a user device to send an access request, requesting access to the secure data network, to the network access point, which then sends an authentication request to an identity server. The identity server processes the authentication request, by validating the combination of the user identity and the network access point identity, and responds with an authentication response, granting or denying access, as communicated to the user device via an access response.
