摘要： There is disclosed herein a liquid spray gun which includes an improved heat dissipation system and an improved leakage flow recirculating system.The improved heat dissipation system results from an improved and stronger air flow through the gun housing and around the electromagnetic coils. The improved air flow is created by a venturi or aspiration effect at the spray tip created by the action of the piston pump in spraying liquid at high velocity reducing the air pressure adjacent the tip. The internal portion of the housing communicates with the low pressure area so air in the housing is drawn from the housing to the low pressure area. Vents are provided in the housing adjacent the electromagnetic coils for outside air to be drawn into said housing over said coils and to the low pressure area, thus improving air flow and heat dissipation.

摘要： In a conveying pump having a cylinder introducible into a reservoir and having a pump piston, whereby the conveyed medium is supplied via an ascending line to a discharge line, an ascending line formed of two sections adjustable relative to one another is provided. The ascending line can be locked at different heights to vary the length of the ascending line so that the conveying pump can be used for reservoirs of different heights without deteriorating the conveying capacity of the pump. This adaptation can be performed easily and quickly. In addition, the conveying pump can be taken apart and easily cleaned, and component parts can be easily replaced.

摘要： An apparatus for conveying paints is connectible via a supply passage to a reservoir and is connectible via a feed passage to an application device. The apparatus includes a diaphragm pump mounted in a closed housing and provided with an admission valve and a discharge valve. The diaphragm pump is driveable with an electric motor that can be switched by a manometric switch dependent on conveying pressure. The admission valve and the discharge valve are commonly arranged in a pump head and are held by a supporting element that is detachably connected to the pump head. Further, the discharge valve is located upsteam of a pressurized chamber that is connected to the feed passage and is also located in the pump head. Variations in feed passage pressure cause variations in the volume of the pressurized chamber by flexing a control diaphragm. The control diaphragm acts on an adjustment element to actuate a control switch. The invention provides an apparatus that is compact, reliable, and easy to manufacture. The apparatus operates at low feed pressures and noise levels. Further, the torque of the drive motor, preferably a split-pole motor, can be easily varied to suit the required conveying power of the diaphragm pump. The invention further permits reproducible adjustment of the manometric switch, and allows quick and easy cleaning of the admission and discharge valves without the need for special tools or disassembly of the housing.

The control arrangement includes a control sleeve which telescopically receives the control piston that moves with the valve member of the outlet valve relative to the sleeve and the sleeve and control piston have a flow restricting arrangement, such as formed by a groove having a different cross sectional size in the axial direction so that the size of the opening will change as the control piston moves relative to the control sleeve.

摘要： A compact portable, easily operated, paint applying apparatus has a frame adapted to rest on the ground, a lifting handle on the frame for ease in carrying to use locations, a paint reservoir removably supported in upright position on the frame, an electric motor driven paint pump mounted on the frame above the reservoir, an intake tube depending from said pump into the reservoir, a discharge tube extending from the pump, and a paint applicator supplied by the discharge tube. The frame is preferably L-shaped with a bottom horizontal leg provided a sturdy base and an upright vertical leg. The horizontal leg has a well receiving the paint reservoir, the vertical leg has a recess receiving the rear end of a housing in which a reciprocal electric motor is mounted. The front end of the motor housing mounts a pump housing with a depending intake coupling directly over the paint reservoir on the horizontal base and an outlet coupling on the front end thereof. The intake coupling is attached to a short tube extending to the bottom of the reservoir while the outlet coupling is attached to a flexible hose or tube leading to the end of a handle with a trigger operated valve discharging into a wand which feeds the paint applying device such as a paint roller or a spray head discharging onto the roller.
