    摘要: A method for the detection and signaling of smoke by means of an optical assembly in a detector casing, the optical assembly including at least one optical transmitter element and at least one optical receiver element, and which emits a reception signal which is representative of the incident amount of light. An electronic evaluation device compares the reception signal to a setpoint and an alarm signal is generated when the reception signal reaches the predetermined threshold value. The temperature is measured on or in the detector casing and the temporal characteristic of the temperature is correlated with the temporal characteristic of the reception signal of the optical receiver element and a dew film signal is generated when the rise in the reception signal is correlated to a rise in temperature.

    摘要: A process to determine malfunctioning detectors in a danger signaling system having a control center and at least two-wire signaling line joined to multiplicity of detectors. Control center emits voltage-modulated digital control and interrogation data to the detectors, and the detectors when interrogated by the control center emit current-modulated digital data to the control center; if faulty data are received following an interrogation, control center emits a voltage signal to the detectors for closing the switches of all detectors; the power input of the detectors is measured and saved in a measured-value memory; the control center subsequently provides an impressed current of a preset magnitude to the line; an evaluation device opens the switch if the power input does not exceed a preset measured value and the voltage dropping on a measuring resistor reaches a preset value; the detector next in succession also opens the switch if the voltage dropping on its measuring resistor reaches its preset value and the power input does not exceed the preset maximum to identify the malfunctioning detector.

A testing circuitry is disposed in the control centre for checking the working order of the network formed from the line and the detectors or line members by means of a testing unit wherein the testing circuitry includes a testing processor which, in turn, has an evaluation software, and a switch assembly controlled by the testing processor is provided for selectively connecting the at least one testing unit to the line (line A).

    摘要: A fire alarm system may comprise a control center, a wired communication pathway connected to the control center, and a relay station having a receiver and a signal evaluation circuit connected to the communication pathway. First decentralized alarm boxes may be wired to the communication pathway, and second decentralized alarm boxes may communicate with the receiver of the relay station via a wireless channel, wherein the first and second alarm boxes, in case of fire, produce an alarm signal which is transmitted to the control center via the communication pathway. A set of separate coupling modules may be disposed in the relay station and may be disconnectably connected to the signal evaluation circuit and the communication pathway via appropriate connecting elements, the coupling modules being designed for different communication modes.
