摘要: A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units and a control panel. The gunshot sensor units generate audio data and encrypt the audio data using an encryption key before storing the audio data and/or sending it to the control panel. The control panel decrypts received encrypted audio data using a decryption key. The encryption keys might be programmed at the control panel and distributed to the gunshot sensor units. The control panel would also store decryption keys for decrypting the audio data from each of the different gunshot sensor units. An additional layer of end-to-end encryption is provided for messages exchanged between the devices. The gunshot sensor units can also be equipped with wireless interfaces for communicating with the control panel over a communication network. To address potential bandwidth issues, the gunshot sensor units determine current network conditions and compress the audio data based on the current network conditions.

摘要: A detection system for measuring one or more conditions within a predetermined area includes at least one fiber optic cable for transmitting light to and receiving scattered light from one or more nodes and a cover plate having an internal cavity. The cover plate surrounds the one or more nodes such that the one or more nodes are in communication with the internal cavity. A control system is operably coupled to the at least one fiber optic cable so that the scattered light received by the one or more nodes is transmitted to the control system. The control system analyzes the scattered light to evaluate a condition at the one or more nodes.

摘要: A system for monitoring the integrity of a plurality of ground conductors has a plurality of monitors, with a different monitor associated with each ground conductor. Each monitor includes a voltage sensor which monitors voltage on a closed circuit of the monitor. Upon the voltage sensor sensing an unexpected voltage, a transmitter of the monitor issues an “alarm” signal, which may be wireless (e.g., being sent using LoRaWAN protocol). The transmitter may issue other signals, including a periodic “heartbeat” signal to confirm continued operation of the monitor, and a “movement” signal to indicate movement of the monitor. The monitor may be GPS-enabled, in which case each signal may include the GPS coordinates of the monitor. The signals issued by the transmitter may ultimately be analyzed by an operator via a user interface platform, which may simultaneously display information regarding two or more of the plurality of monitors.

摘要: A face authentication system including a storage to store a face image of each of a plurality of persons who are permitted to enter in advance and information on a zone; an image processing unit to detect a face of at least one person in an image captured by at least one camera having identification information, and generate a face cut-out image of the at least one person; a zone determination unit to determine a zone where a person in the face cut-out image is captured; a collation unit to collate the face cut-out image with the face image of each of the plurality of persons; and an output control unit to, when it is determined that there is not a face of a person appearing in the face cut-out image, superimpose a detection frame indicating a face of a person who is not permitted to enter the zone.

摘要: A gunshot detection system provides anti-tampering protection for gunshot sensor units and a control panel. The control panel monitors for tampering events, including monitoring for changes to configuration settings. When the settings are changed, even by an authorized user, the control panel generates a tampering alert and sends the alert to an operator of the control panel and/or administrators for the gunshot detection system. A similar notification might also occur when a sensor is taken offline or when an anti-tamper sensor on a housing of the gunshot sensor unit detects manipulation or opening of the housing. The control panel also monitors for tampering using machine certificates associated with the gunshot sensor units. In one example, the gunshot sensor units sign event data using the machine certificates and an arbitrary reference number known to the control panel. The control panel then verifies the signed event data to detect tampering events.
