Abstract: An auxiliary device charging case is used to facilitate translation features of a mobile computing device or auxiliary device. A first user, who may be a foreign language speaker, holds the charging case and speaks into the charging case. The charging case communicates the received speech to the mobile computing device, either directly or through the auxiliary device, which translates the received speech into a second language for a second user, who is the owner of the mobile computing device and auxiliary device. The second user may provide input in the second language, such as by speaking or typing into the auxiliary or mobile computing device. The mobile computing device may translate this second input to the first language, and transmit the translated input to the charging case either directly or through the auxiliary device. The charging case may output the translated second input to the first user, such as through a speaker or display screen.

The second electronic device may provide feedback to the first electronic device through a feedback loop. The feedback may include an indication of the voltage requirements and/or instructions for adjusting the voltage output of the first electronic device. The second device may be, for example, a wearable audio device, while the first device is a case for the wearable audio device.

Abstract: A case (100) is provided for housing and charging one or more wireless devices (180), such as wireless earbuds. The case (100) includes capacitive sensing circuitry (120) for detecting whether the wireless devices (180) are positioned inside the case (100) based on a capacitance of the wireless devices (180). The case (100) also includes a transceiver (150) for transmitting data to and receiving data from the wireless devices (180). When the wireless devices (180) are positioned inside the case (100), an electrical component (110) inside the case operatively connects the capacitive sensing circuitry (120) and the transceiver (150) of the case (100) to the wireless devices (180). The case (100) further includes one or more processors (140) for controlling the capacitive sensing circuitry (120), the transceiver (150), and the electrical component (110).
