    Abstract: Methods, systems and media for presenting media content that was advertised on a second screen device using a primary screen device are provided. In some implementations, a method for advertising media content to a user is provided, the method comprising: receiving an advertisement request from a computing device; receiving association information indicating that the computing device is associated with a media presentation device; receiving user account information associated with the user account; in response to the advertisement request, selecting an advertisement for media content based at least in part on the association information and the user account information; determining whether an indicator of subscription status of the user account to a service is to be presented in connection with the selected advertisement; causing the advertisement to be presented by computing device, wherein the advertisement is associated with instructions that, in response to interaction with the advertisement, cause the computing device to instruct the media presentation device to present the media content and the indicator of subscription status; receiving input indicating that the indicator of subscription status has been selected; causing an application associated with the service to be transmitted to the computing device; and updating the subscription status of the user account in connection with the service.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for interacting with content using a second screen device are provided. In some implementations, the method comprises: receiving, from a remote media streaming device, a request to present media content items; sending, over the Internet, interactive content to the media streaming device as a stream of video; causing the interactive content to be presented by the media streaming device; causing a notification to be sent to a computing device associated with the media streaming device indicating that the content being presented by the media streaming device is interactive content; receiving instructions from the computing device to control how an object depicted in the interactive content is presented; updating the interactive content based on the instructions; sending the updated interactive content to the media streaming device as a stream of video; and causing the updated interactive content to be presented by the media streaming device.

    Abstract: An auxiliary device charging case is used to facilitate translation features of a mobile computing device or auxiliary device. A first user, who may be a foreign language speaker, holds the charging case and speaks into the charging case. The charging case communicates the received speech to the mobile computing device, either directly or through the auxiliary device, which translates the received speech into a second language for a second user, who is the owner of the mobile computing device and auxiliary device. The second user may provide input in the second language, such as by speaking or typing into the auxiliary or mobile computing device. The mobile computing device may translate this second input to the first language, and transmit the translated input to the charging case either directly or through the auxiliary device. The charging case may output the translated second input to the first user, such as through a speaker or display screen.

    Abstract: The methods and systems described herein provide for restricting charging of a second electronic device by a first electronic device during transit, and triggering charging after transit is complete but prior to receipt by a consumer. The electronic devices are shipped in a low power state, and boxed in a particular orientation. An accelerometer in the device, detecting this particular orientation, maintains the device in the low power state. While in this state, a battery of the device is prevented from transmitting a charge to another device or receiving a charge from another device. Once the device is taken out of the shipping environment for a threshold period of time, a movement or change in orientation triggers the device to switch to a high power state. In the high power state, charging of one device by another may be enabled.
