摘要: A recuperator for furnaces includes a set of tubes, which are installed in a secondary chamber (1) which is located behind a main combustion chamber of the furnace and through which hot fumes can pass from the main combustion chamber towards an outlet. The task of the tubes is to recuperate thermal energy from the fumes by bringing a combustion gas to pass through the tubes on its way to burners in the main combustion chamber. The different tubes of the tube set are designed as individual units (8) each one of which is removably inserted in the secondary chamber (1) through holes in the walls (4) thereof. In the mounted condition each tube has a closed portion projecting into the secondary chamber as well as a portion projecting from the outside of the walls of the secondary chamber, the latter portion having inlets and outlets for cold and preheated combustion gas respectively.

摘要: Carbon black is produced by burning a mixture of air and oil to produce hot gases and then conducting the hot gases through tubes extending through a chamber of a heat exchanger. Heat exchange air is conducted through the chamber in a direction opposite the direction of gas flow, in heat-exchange relationship with the tubes, to pre-heat the air. The pre-heated air is then mixed with the oil to be burned. Prior to entering the chamber, the air is conducted within a hollow section of the wall structure of the heat exchanger to transfer heat from a hot end of the wall structure toward a cooler end thereof.

摘要: A stabilizer (1) used in a vehicle is provided by a tubular element (2) with a middle section (3) and two end sections (4a and 4b), where the end sections (4a and 4b) is bent at an angle relative the middle section (3) so that the stabilizer (1) attains a U-shape. Section surfaces perpendicular to the longitudinal/center axes (A3 and/or A4) of the tubular element at the middle section (3) and/or the end sections (4a and 4b) are of a shape where one of two vectors (V1 and V2) in the plane of a section surface is longer than the other, both vectors originating from the center of gravity of the section surface (P), extending to the periphery of the tubular element and being at an angle relative to each other. A method of manufacturing a stabilizer is also disclosed.

摘要: A duplex stainless steel alloy has been provided which contains in % by weight:--C max. 0.05--Si max. 0.8--Mn 0.3-4--Cr 28-35--Ni 3-10--Mo 1.0-4.0--N 0.2-0.6--Cu max. 1.0--W max. 2.0--S max 0.010--Ce 0-0.2the remainder being Fe and normally occurring impurities and additives. The ferrite content is 30-70% by volume, balance austenite. The steel alloy is very suitable in the environments that exist at the production of urea, in which it may advantageously replace the austenitic steels used so far.

摘要: A stainless steel, which after nitriding exhibits a hardened surface layer with a hardness of at least 1200 Hv is disclosed. The stainless steel can be in the form of wire, plate, strip, tube and pipe and other geometries, especially complex geometries, particularly useful in applications with high demands on a combination of high strength and/or toughness and wear resistance and as a substrate for coating.

摘要: A beam is provided for absorbing impact forces imparted to doors and sides of a vehicle body as a result of collisions from the side as well as from the front and rear of the vehicle. The beam (17, 18, 78, 88) is intended to protect people or goods inside the vehicle against personal injury or damage in the case of such an impact. The beam (17, 18, 78, 88) comprises at least one thin walled, closed profile roll formed member (52, 62, 72, 82) defining a cavity (63, 83). At least one wall of the member defines at least one longitudinally extending groove (53, 65, 73, 81). The beam (17, 18, 78, 88) may also be used as a standard building block for structural components.
