摘要: An anchoring member which comprises a support structure and at least one anchor secured to the anchoring member is disclosed. An anchor deflection member is disposed generally externally to and at least partially surrounding and extending along the perimeter of the anchoring member. The anchor deflection member supports the anchoring member for sliding longitudinal movement in directions which result in advancement and retraction of a point on the anchor. The anchor deflection member defines a guide surface positioned on the inside of the anchor deflection member. The guide surface extends longitudinally, and it is configured and dimensioned to slidingly guide the cylindrical anchoring member. A deflection lip is positioned relatively inwardly with respect to the guide surface. The deflection lip is positioned to outwardly deflect the point of the anchor as the anchor is advanced from a position removed from the deflection lip toward the deflection lip into contact with the deflection lip and beyond the deflection lip.

摘要: A fuel-air premixer for a combustor of a gas turbine engine includes a central passage disposed along an axis and operable to communicate a first airflow and an outer annular passage about the axis operable to communicate a second airflow. The fuel-air premixer further includes an inner annular passage about the axis and between the central passage and the outer annular passage for communicating fuel flow. The inner annular passage including an inner exit angled for directing fuel flow toward the axis into a mixer passage downstream of the outer and inner exits for mixing the fuel flow with the first and second airflows.

摘要: A free-standing, porous foam product comprising an integral network of PVP molecules hydrogen-bonded to H.sub.2 O.sub.2 molecules, optionally including a water-soluble gelling agent; e.g. hydroxyethyl cellulose; in an amount up to 60% by weight of the product, its PVP content being about 25-90% by weight of the product, and the H.sub.2 O.sub.2 content being about 5-24% by weight. In the absence of a gelling agent, the product has a bulk density of about 0.3 to about 0.5 g/cc and a porosity of about 60-70%. When a gelling agent is present in the product, its bulk density and porosity of the product is substantially reduced and, accordingly, it has a more foam-like structure and appearance.
