摘要： An flat envelope for hermetically containing various functional elements of an fluorescent display tube is disclosed. The envelope includes a base plate and a transparent front plate mounted on a front surface of the base plate to form a chamber with the base plate which contains a plurality of the indicator elements. The front plate comprises an upper glass plate, pillared glass strip side wall plates which are bonded to the inside periphery of the upper plate and a transparent electrically-conductive film for shielding static electricity deposited on the inner surface of the upper plate except the peripheral sealing portion of the upper plate and the peripheral side wall of the side wall plates.

摘要： A multi-figure fluorescent display tube includes in the casing a plurality of anode display portions formed of segment electrodes each having a fluorescent material layer thereon, cathodes and control electrodes disposed opposite to the anode display portions, lead-in wires led out in an air-tight manner from the casing and electrically connected to the segment electrodes, the control electrodes and the cathodes, a plurality of conductive sections each connected to adjacent common segment electrodes through a corresponding conductive wiring film, the lead-in wires for the segment electrode terminal each having at the end thereof in the casing a contact with a spring portion, the contact coming in contact with the corresponding conductive section by the action of the spring portion thereby establishing an electrical connection.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a fluorescent display apparatus divided into a plurality of sections each having a plurality of anode conductors disposed on a base plate made of an insulating material, wherein phosphor layers are applied on the anode conductors in each of the sections using phosphors of different luminous colors to obtain a plurality of display sections for illuminating different luminous colors upon impingement of electrons, comprising the steps of forming a first phosphor paste comprising a phosphor compound capable of emitting a particular luminous color, a volatile solvent and a solid film forming element decomposable by the application of heat at a temperature higher than the volatilization temperature of the solvent; forming a second phosphor paste consisting of a phosphor compound capable of emitting a particular luminous color different from that of the first phosphor paste and a volatile solvent; screen printing the first paste to the anode conductors of at least one section of the display apparatus; nextly volatilizing the solvent of the first screen printed paste at a temperature above the volatilization temperature of the solvent and below the decomposition temperature of the solid film forming element to transform the solid film forming element into a solid film; depositing the second paste on the anode conductors of the remaining section of said display apparatus and baking the base plate with the phosphor films formed thereon to eliminate the film forming element from the first phosphor paste, leaving only the respective phosphor compound on the anode conductors on each respective display section.

摘要： An envelope for hermetically containing various functional elements of an indicator tube is disclosed. The envelope includes a base plate and a transparent cover mounted on a front surface of the base plate to form a chamber with the base plate which contains a plurality of the indicator elements. The cover comprises a channel plate having a transparent upper viewing window and side ridges or walls and a pair of strips to be bonded to the open side ends of the channel plate.
