    摘要: A method of indexing recordings of contact center communication sessions is described. The method allows for a recording to be indexed with metadata reflecting a time-varying characteristic of one or more of the parties of the communications session, e.g. the mood of a caller, the current location of a caller. The indexing of recordings with such information allows for more granular search of recordings, in order to find particular call conditions. This can be useful from the point of view of education and training of new call center operatives, and for assessment of call center performance.

    摘要: Aircraft galley carts and other insulated food storage units are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a food storage unit configured in accordance with the invention includes an interior portion configured to hold food, a first panel positioned at least proximate to a wall of the interior portion, and at least a second panel positioned at least proximate to the first panel. In this embodiment, the first panel can include a phase change material and at least a portion of the second panel can be evacuated. In one aspect of this embodiment, the food storage unit can further include a temperature sensor operably coupled to the interior portion. The temperature sensor can be configured to provide an indication when the temperature in the interior portion reaches a preselected temperature.

    摘要: A meeting negotiation system provides a new approach to scheduling events by negotiating schedules while preserving privacy through a shared representation that separates the meeting negotiation from the meeting invitation. The negotiation system integrates all scheduling-related information such as times users can meet, location, etc. and reduces dependency on designations of time as free or busy by a potential meeting attendee. Consequently, the negotiation system enables time preferences richer than just free or busy, allowing potential meeting attendees to designate preference in addition to time available. The negotiation system supports annotations and comments as a discussion mechanism, giving feedback to the meeting scheduler before the meeting invitation is issued. Possible times provided for the meeting are provided in the form of a bounded negotiation; participants may select the best time for them to attend a meeting from the bounded negotiation. The meeting organizer finalizes the meeting time from the responses provided by participants.

    摘要: Audio conferencing is carried out in stereo by centrally assigning a position in the stereo spectrum (either bipolar stereo or surround sound) and instructing each conference endpoint to transmit at the stereo position assigned to it. In this way signals from a number of endpoints can be simply added to one another in order to provide a composite broadcast signal. This method also facilitates multiple server conferences in which endpoints attached to additional conference servers can be instructed to change their virtual stereo position in the case of a conflict with the stereo position of an existing conferee.
