Abstract:
A woven fabric used as a lining in a shirt sector, consisting of fabric-forming warp and weft filaments which consist of synthetic material, wherein the weft yarn consists at least partially of crimped yarns. The finished fabric is then coated in punctiform manner with a hot sealable adhesive on the basis of copolyesters and/or low pressure polyethylene in the spot raster with a spot density of 600 to 1400 spots/inch.sup.2. The invention also comprises colored, marked and flame-resistant linings. The coating with hot sealable adhesive can be carried out in punctiform manner using all the known application technologies. It is also taken into consideration that a calendering process can be undertaken after the coating process.
Abstract:
A filament drawing apparatus has a support, at least two pairs of rollers spaced apart on the support in a travel direction so that a filament to be drawn passes in the direction between the rollers of both pairs, and a drive having at least two output shafts and including a transmission for rotating the shafts at different speeds. One of the shafts is connected to one of the roller pairs and the other roller pair is displaceable on the support in the travel direction relative to the one roller pair. An input gear is mounted on the other output shaft and an output gear is mounted on one of the rollers of the other roller pair and is displaceable therewith in the direction. An input link has one end pivoted at the other output shaft and an opposite end and an output link has one end pivoted at the one roller of the other roller pair and has an opposite end pivoted on the opposite end of the input link. An intermediate gear pivoted on the opposite ends meshes with and interconnects the input and output gears. Thus rotation of the other output shaft is transmitted from the input gear through the intermediate gear and output gear to the one roller of the other roller pair.
Abstract:
A ring spinning or twisting machine has rotating rings which are equipped with metallic flanges. Each ring has an associated permanent magnet device which can be moved to the vicinity of the flange so that the magnetic field interacts with it and generates eddy currents which tend to decelerate the rotating ring. The permanent magnets are mounted on a common sliding rod which is actuated by a servomotor. The displacement is such that each magnet moves substantially parallel to the plane of the flange and may occupy a position where the magnetic field is laterally adjacent to the flange and does not interact with it.
Abstract:
Carry pack made from plastic film that is enclosed on all sides and has a handle for carrying the pack. The handle has two layers, has a folding line at its end facing the top panel of the pack and is sealed to the top panel in the area of this folding line.
Abstract:
Schiff bases of aminocycloalkanecarboxylic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## where R, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, m and n have the meanings given in the description, are prepared by a novel process. The compounds are intermediates for the preparation of the corresponding aminocycloalkanecarboxylic acids and of esters thereof.
Abstract:
An assembly of filament-drawing rollers, used for stretching rovings or fiber bundles in a spinning machine, is divided into a plurality of stages each including an elongate driven roller and a set of coacting counterrollers, the driven rollers being interconnected at both ends by respective gear trains for rotation at predetermined relative speeds by a motor driving one of these gear trains. In order to prevent any overstressing of the mechanism if nonmatching gears are inadvertently inserted into the two gear trains, a torque limiter in the form of a shearing bolt or a friction clutch is interposed between at least one driven roller and an associated driving gear. Advantageously, the torque limiter is provided with a device generating an alarm signal upon relative rotation, due to overload, of its input and output shafts respectively joined to the driving gear and the driven roller.
Abstract:
A cleaning apparatus used in a spinning machine wherein a row of grabs having seats can be engaged over tubes in respective spinning stations to remove the tubes from and insert the tubes into the respective stations has at least one nozzle directable into the seats of the grabs and a system for supplying air under pressure to the nozzle and thereby forming at the nozzle a jet that blows lint and the like from the seat into which the nozzle is directed.
Abstract:
A system for transferring bobbins between textile machines includes a temporary storage device positionable at a location between two textile machines for temporarily storing bobbins being transported between the machine. A transport rail assembly has either one rail extending between the machines for transport of bobbins either directly between machines or between the rail and the intermediate storage device, or a pair of rails each extending from one of the machines to the storage device. The storage device stores bobbins in a plurality of rows and is mobile for selective movement to other locations. It may have slidable pallet members for supporting bobbins or outwardly projecting support members inclined in the range of horizontal to vertically upward for supporting bobbins inserted thereon. The storage device further includes at least one component shaped compatible with the rail for facilitating transfer of bobbins and the component can be selectively movable vertically with respect to the rail for transfer of bobbins supported on the device in rows. The rail assembly may include at least one branch rail selectively movable with respect to the storage device, which may include a plurality of pairs of rails for suspension of bobbins thereon.
