摘要: The present invention provides a system and method capable of facilitating the efficient analysis of oilfield data utilizing at least one computer database containing a plurality of stored petroleum engineering operations. In one embodiment, stored petroleum engineering operations may include individual petroleum engineering tasks/calculations, workflows comprising multiple engineering tasks/calculations, and/or third party applications capable of analyzing at least a portion of collected oilfield data. In one embodiment, petroleum engineering operations may be proven in the field, i.e., tested and proven to be accurate under real-world oilfield conditions, prior to storage upon the database. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a graphic user interface adapted to receive customer data and identify stored engineering operations associated thereto. Identified engineering operations stored upon the database may then be displayed and executed according to user instructions and/or predefined execution arrangements.

摘要: Colloidal coal-in-water slurries having nano-particles of coal creating a pseudo-fluid. The colloidal coal-in-water slurry generally includes from about fifty to about seventy two weight percent of coal, with about 20 to about 80 percent of the coal having a particle size of about one micron or less with a mode particle size of about 250 nanometers. The coal-in-water slurry can also include a surfactant system containing one surfactant or mixtures of two or more surfactants, or mixtures of one or more surfactants and an inorganic or organic salt. The coal-in-water slurry can be used in low NOx burner applications as the main fuel and/or the reburn fuel, in gasification processes as the input fuel either alone, or in combination with organic materials, in gas turbine applications, and in diesel engine applications.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for restarting core flow with viscous oil after a long standstill period. The process comprises initiating a flow of low viscosity fluid such as water into an inlet portion of a pipeline; gradually increasing the flow of the low viscosity fluid until a desired steady state condition is reached and initiating a flow of viscous oil into the inlet portion of the pipeline after the steady state condition has been reached.

摘要: A method for performing operations of an oilfield is described. The method involves selectively coupling oilfield simulators according to a predefined configuration, each oilfield simulator modeling at least a portion of the oilfield, a first oilfield simulator receives an oilfield control parameter as an input, identifying an uncertainty parameter associated with probable values each corresponding to a weighted probability, a second oilfield simulator receives the uncertainty parameter as an input, modeling the operations of the oilfield to generate an estimated performance by selectively communicating between the oilfield simulators, the operations of the oilfield are modeled with a predetermined value of the oilfield control parameter and at least one of the probable values of the uncertainty parameter; and identifying an optimal value of the oilfield control parameter based on the estimated performance.
