摘要: Examples herein relate to an adjustment of a power limit of a processor. Examples disclose setting the power limit of the processor. The examples also obtaining a temperature difference between a die temperature of a core within the processor and a throttle temperature. In response to a determination that the temperature difference is at most equal to a temperature activation point, adjusting the power limit of the processor so that the adjust power limit is less than the set power limit.

摘要: An apparatus can include a fan including a control pin. The fan may receive a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal at the control pin. The fan may further control a speed of the fan based on a duty cycle of the PWM signal when the PWM signal is in a first range and, responsive to the duty cycle of the PWM signal being in a second range, transmit information corresponding to the fan to an external controller.

摘要: A system may comprise one or more computing systems, each comprising a group of compute nodes configured to receive liquid coolant. The system also comprises a primary coolant distribution unit (CDU) fluidically coupled to the computing system via a first set of fluid couplings and configured to supply the liquid coolant to the computing system. The system also includes a portable maintenance CDU configured to be removably coupled to the computing system, in a state of the primary CDU still being coupled to the computing system, via a second set of fluid couplings. The maintenance CDU is configured to supply the liquid coolant to the computing system in an installed state in lieu of the primary CDU.

摘要: A micro control unit (“MCU”) controls operation of a cooling fan in a compute device. The MCU is responsive to determining that a fan speed of the cooling fan is above a predetermined speed threshold to periodically determine power consumption of the cooling fan. In response to a periodic determination of power consumption exceeding a predetermined power consumption limit, the MCU reduces the fan speed of the cooling fan by a predetermined increment and continues periodically determine power consumption of the cooling fan. Upon determining that the power consumption does not exceed the predetermined power consumption limit, the MCU discontinues any prior reduction of the fan speed.
