Abstract: Creating ambient lighting based on a color temperature range may be performed by a computing apparatus storing a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium may comprise instructions that when executed, cause a processor of the computing apparatus to receive as input, an indication of a target color temperature range for the computing apparatus. The computer-readable storage medium may comprise instructions to compare a measured color temperature on a display of the computing apparatus to the target color temperature range, and using a plurality of color lighting elements communicatively coupled to the computing apparatus, create ambient lighting in an environment surrounding the computing apparatus based on the target color temperature range.
