Abstract:
AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF ALKALI PARAFFIN SULPHONATES HAVING A LOW CONTENT OF ALKALI SULPHATE IS OBTAINED FROM SULPHOXIDATION PRODUCTS BY SEPARATING THE MAIN PART OF THE HYDROTROPICALLY DISSOLVED PARAFFIN BY ADDITION OF A LOW MOLECULAR ALCOHOL, NEUTRALIZING THE AQUEOUS-ALCOHOLIC SOLUTION WITH AN ALKALI AND SEPARATING THE PRECIPITATED ALKALI SULPHATE.
Abstract:
IMPROVED PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF TERTIARY PHOSPHINE OXIDES BY REACTING DIALKYL PHOSPHINE OXIDES WITH A-OLEFINS WHEREIN THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT UNDER AN ATMOSPHERE OF AN INERT GAS WITH EXPOSURE TO ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT, IN THE PRESENCE OF CATALYTICAL AMOUNTS OF FREE RADICAL-FORMING AGENTS OR IN THE ABSENCE OF THESE CATALYTICAL MEASURES AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 130* AND 200*C. IN COMPARISON TO KNOWN PROCESSES THE TERTIARY PHOSPHINE OXIDES ARE OBTAINED WITHIN A SHORTER REACTION TIME, WITH HIGHER PURITY AND IN HIGHER YIELDS. THE REACTION PRODUCTS CAN BE USED AS INTERMEDIATES, SURFACTANTS, DETERGENTS AND CLEANING AGENTS, ESPECIALLY IN COSMETIC PRODUCTS.
Abstract:
Dialkyl-phosphinic acid alkyl esters are obtained by reacting Alpha -monoolefins being substantially free of sulfur compounds with dialkyl-phosphites in the presence of free-radical generators. The known products are foam depressants, flame retardant agents and intermediates for plant protecting agents.
Abstract:
PROCESS FOR PREPARING 2-CHLOROETHANE-PHOSPHONIC ACID ESTERS BY REACTING VINYL CHLORIDE AT ABOUT NORMAL PRESSURE WITH DIETHYL PHOSPHITES OR DIETHYL THIOPHOSPHITES IN THE PRESENCE OF RADICALS GENERATING SUBSTANCES AND/OR ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN ABOUT 120* AND 200*C. AND UNDER INERT ATMOSPHERE AND IN ABSENCE OF OXYGEN.
