The solid particles may be made of a polymeric matrix material, have a diameter ranging from about 0.8 to about 8 mm, and may include a plurality of microcapsules. The plurality of microcapsules may be dispersed in the polymeric matrix material. The microcapsules may have a diameter ranging from about 4 to about 70 70 μm. Use of and methods of use of such a liquid composition are also described.

A chromium and ferricyanide free aqueous cleaner/deoxidizer for aluminum and titanium and their alloys contains strong acid, fluoride ions, aryl quaternary ammonium ions, and di-anionic functional substituted compounds containing at least two aryl groups per molecule. Excellent cleaning and deoxidizing with substantially no etching is achieved.

The invention relates to a detergent composition comprising a low-foaming, non-ionic surfactant and a synergistic hydrotrope mixture. The hydrotrope mixture is composed of two classes of organic phosphate esters A and B wherein A is the reaction product of a compound of the formulaR -- OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --.sub.n OHwherein R is alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or alkaryl and n is 1 to 10, with phosphorus pentoxide and B is the reaction product of a compound of the above formula with polyphosphoric acid. The weight ratio of A:B is 1:9 to 9:1. The composition may further comprise an alkaline builder.

Disclosed is a disinfecting detergent. The disinfecting detergent comprises the following components: 0.1-6% (w/w %) of hydrogen peroxide, 0.01-0.6% (w/w %) of peroxyacetic acid, 0.01-2% (w/w %) of quaternary ammonium salts, 0.01-1% (w/w %) of surface active agent, 1-3% (w/w %) of alkali, 0-1% (w/w %) of sodium pyrophosphate, and 90-96% (w/w %) of water, the pH value of the disinfecting detergent being 7.0-9.9. The disinfecting detergent of the present invention has the advantages of low toxicity, low corrosivity, no pungent smell and fast, broad-spectrum and high-efficiency sterilization, virus killing effect and spore killing effect.

The present invention discloses a biocidal composition comprising hydrogen peroxide in a concentration of 0.05-50% (w/w) and a compound with a structure according to Formula 1: (OH)(X)(O)P—O—(CH—(Y)—CH2—O)n—R, or a salt thereof, wherein X is H or OH, Y is H or CH3, n is 2-6 and R is an alkyl radical containing 4-18 carbon atoms, in a concentration of 0.01-60% (w/w). A especially preferred compound according to Formula 1 is a compound wherein X is OH, Y is H, n is 4 and R is a straight alkyl chain containing 10 carbon atoms.
