Abstract: An object detection system for a saddle-type vehicle is provided. The system comprises an object detection unit configured to detect an object, wherein the object detection unit is provided on a handlebar which is rotatable to a body of the vehicle; an inclination detection unit configured to detect an inclination of a saddle-type vehicle; a steering angle detection unit configured to detect a steering angle of the handlebar to the body; and a position specification unit configure to specify a position of the object detected by the object detection unit, and correcting the position so that the inclination detected by the inclination detection unit is upright and the steering angle of the handlebar detected by the steering angle detection unit is directed straight.

Abstract: In a rear structure for a straddle type vehicle including a front seat, on which a rider sits, seat rails for supporting a rear seat, on which a pillion passenger sits behind the rider, grab rails, which are attached on a vehicle body on the sides of the rear seat, a backrest, detachably attached to the rear portion of the vehicle, and a space for the pillion passenger to hold the grab rail, which is formed between the grab rail and the vehicle body. The grab rail is configured such that a grip portion extends in the front-and-rear direction of the vehicle body, and the backrest is disposed inside the grip portion, is supported at the front and rear of the grip portion by the grab rail and overlaps the grip portion in a side view.

Abstract: A front structure of a motorcycle where a larger amount of air can be directed to the inside without increasing the size of the vehicle. In a front structure of a motorcycle includes a front fork steerably mounted on a front portion of a vehicle body frame and supporting a front wheel thereon. A front fender is provided for avoiding mud from being splashed by the front wheel. A duct, through which a flow of air flows, is formed on a side surface of the front fender. An air intake opening, for taking in the flow of air, is formed on a front end of the duct with an air discharge opening directed inwardly in the vehicle width direction being formed on a rear end of the duct. The rear end of the duct opens to an inside of an inner surface of the front fork.
