Abstract: A solid state battery includes an electrode laminate including an intermediate layer, a first solid electrolyte layer, a positive electrode, and a second solid electrolyte layer sequentially laminated on a negative electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode tab extending therefrom. One of the first solid electrolyte layer or the second solid electrolyte layer includes a porous substrate. One other of the first solid electrolyte layer or the second solid electrolyte layer does not include a porous substrate. When the electrode laminate is viewed from above, outer peripheral ends of the first solid electrolyte layer and the second solid electrolyte layer are located outside an outer peripheral end of the positive electrode, and the first solid electrolyte layer and the second solid electrolyte layer are bonded to each other in a region not opposed to the positive electrode and the positive electrode tab.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for manufacturing a solid-state secondary battery including a multilayer electrode structure including a negative electrode layer, an intermediate layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and a positive electrode layer stacked in order. The method includes a step 1A including pressure-bonding a negative electrode layer and an intermediate layer to form a stack of the negative electrode layer and the intermediate layer; a step 1B including pressure-bonding the intermediate layer of the stack and a solid electrolyte layer to form a stack of the negative electrode layer, the intermediate layer, and the solid electrolyte layer; and a step 1C including pressure-bonding the solid electrolyte layer of the stack and a positive electrode layer to form the multilayer electrode structure.
