Abstract:
In a switch case of a handle switch of a vehicle, first to fourth operation elements are disposed on a case below an axial line of a handlebar of the vehicle. The first to third operation elements overlap with each other, when viewed in rear view, and are each disposed in such an accessible range as to be operable by a rider with a thumb in a state in which the rider puts a left hand on a handle grip attached to the handlebar. The fourth operation element is provided on the center side of the vehicle body in the direction along the axial line. Such vehicle handle switch allows improvement in the operability for a rider.
Abstract:
To provide a brake piping structure for saddled vehicle which can reduce the number of restraining members used for brake piping and allow brake piping to avoid interfering with other parts. The brake piping structure for saddled vehicles includes a pair of left and right rear frames connected to a rear portion of a vehicle body frame of a saddled vehicle and supporting a seat, a swing arm swingably supported, via a pivot, by the vehicle body frame, and brake piping which conveys hydraulic pressure generated by an ABS modulator to a rear brake caliper for a rear wheel. The ABS modulator is disposed between the pair of left and right rear frames. The brake piping extends from the ABS modulator forward and downward of the vehicle body along the rear frame and is, by being curved rearward of the vehicle body in front of the pivot and then by being routed under the swing arm, connected to the rear brake caliper.
Abstract:
An operation device of a straddle type vehicle has a controller used to operate at least two or more kinds of functions of equipment mounted on the straddle type vehicle. The controller includes a controller operation portion capable of rotary and other freely moving operations. A rotary shaft of the controller inside the controller operation portion is arranged lower than a lower wall face of a switch box.
Abstract:
An optical sensor disposition structure for a saddle riding vehicle includes an optical sensor, and an airflow guide member disposed in front of a head pipe and configured to cover a front section of a vehicle body and in which an introduction port configured to guide traveling air rearward is formed, wherein the optical sensor overlaps the introduction port when seen in a front view.
Abstract:
A handlebar-mounted switch control device includes switch activation buttons which respectively correspond to specific switches, and which are arranged on surfaces of a switch case adjacent to a grip in an end portion of a handlebar. Two switch activation buttons are disposed on a front outer surface of the switch case. The two switch activation buttons are configured and placed in such a way so that a rider can easily recognize which of the two switch activation buttons the rider touches. The second switch activation button is placed above the first switch activation button, and inward of the first switch activation button in a vehicle width direction. A guide surface inclining to extend inward in the vehicle width direction toward an upper side is formed on a side surface of the switch case which is above the first switch activation button, and which faces the grip.
Abstract:
An operating device of a straddle type vehicle has a controller for selecting a plurality of function menus of components mounted on the straddle type vehicle. Controller supporting portions support the controller, and are disposed in the front direction of a switch box. The controller has a controller operating portion which a rider can operate. The controller operating portion is positioned in the front direction of a grip portion.
