    Abstract: A shift control device for a motorcycle includes a transmission that allows switching between a neutral state and a number of engaged shift positions, a shift control section that controls a shift state of the transmission, and an N/D changeover switch that switches between the neutral state and a drive mode for executing automatic shift among the plural shift positions. The shift control device also includes a hand-operated shift switch that allows manual shifting among the plural shift positions, and a foot operated shift control unit that allows manual shifting among the plural shift positions during the drive mode according to an operation of a shift pedal. The N/D changeover switch and the hand-operated shift switch are arranged around a handlebar of the motorcycle. The shift control section is operable to switch between the neutral state and the drive mode by the foot operated shift control unit.

    Abstract: A control apparatus includes a throttle configured to adjust an amount of air flowing in an intake passage of an engine, an accelerator opening sensor configured to detect an accelerator opening, a throttle opening sensor configured to detect an opening of the throttle, and a control unit configured to control the opening of the throttle. The control unit includes a setting unit configured to set a target opening and set a control amount of the throttle based on a deviation between the target opening and the opening detected by the throttle opening sensor, and a correction unit configured to, if the target opening is not more than a predetermined opening, set a correction amount of the control amount such that the opening of the throttle becomes large independently of the deviation.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, includes: a throttle operator; an opening degree detector that detects an operation opening degree of the throttle operator; and an electronic control throttle device that opens and closes a throttle valve disposed in an intake passage of the engine, depending on the operation opening degree detected by the opening degree detector. A throttle valve opening degree of the throttle valve is set to include a zero output throttle opening degree angle at which an output of the engine becomes zero between a low rotational speed region and a high rotational speed region of the engine. The operation opening degree of the throttle operator corresponding to the zero output throttle opening degree angle is set to an opening-side angle ratio that falls within a range between 8% and 12%, both inclusive, with respect to a fully-open opening degree of the throttle operator.

    Abstract: A device that can stably and accurately estimate the roll angle of a vehicle body during various states of movement of the vehicle body. A roll angle estimated value calculation portion calculates an estimated value of the roll angle by integrating a value obtained by correcting an estimated value of roll angle velocity of a vehicle body by use of a correction value, or by correcting a value obtained by integrating an estimated value of roll angle velocity by use of a correction value. The correction value is calculated by use of a detection value of speed of the vehicle body in the traveling direction, detection values of angular velocity and acceleration detected by sensors mounted on the vehicle body, a previous estimated value of the roll angle, and a previous estimated value of the pitch angle of the vehicle body.
