    Abstract: An engine generator including, in a housing: a generator; an engine; a fuel tank; a canister for collecting evaporated fuel; and pipes for causing the canister and an inside of the fuel tank to communicate with each other. The pipes include the pipe section provided in the fuel tank; the pipe section extends above a liquid surface of the fuel in the fuel tank in a state in which a short-length side of the housing is placed downward; and the pipe section includes a portion that passes through a place above the liquid surface of the fuel in a state in which an opposite side of the housing is placed downward.

    Abstract: An engine-driven generator includes a fuel tank disposed in front of a cooling fan, an air guide space defined between the fuel tank and the cooling fan, an inverter disposed beside a lateral side part of the air guide space, and an air shroud provided between the inverter and the air guide space. The fuel tank is vertically elongated to face a cylinder block of a vertical engine. A storage space having the inverter disposed therein is connected to the air guide space via the air shroud.

    Abstract: A portable engine generator includes a power generation unit operating an engine to generate electricity and a negative pressure fuel cock using a negative pressure in a crank chamber as an operating negative pressure to supply fuel to the engine. The negative pressure fuel cock is located on a side opposite to a negative pressure take-out port of the crank chamber with respect to a position of the power generation unit when the portable gas-engine generator is turned over, and so as to be located at a position higher than the negative pressure take-out port when the portable gas-engine generator is in an upright posture.
