    Abstract: Provided is a vehicle control device which, when traffic participants are waiting in the vicinity of a railroad crossing for a train to pass, appropriately controls driving of a vehicle about to pass through the railroad crossing. Entry of the vehicle into the railroad crossing is restrained until a waiting time elapses since when the railroad crossing transitioned from a passage blocking state to a passage allowing state, the waiting time being set in accordance with the kind or the number of the traffic participants present in the vicinity of the railroad crossing. When the waiting time has elapsed, the vehicle is caused to enter the railroad crossing and pass (through) the railroad crossing.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device is configured to execute travel control of controlling a vehicle such that the vehicle travels at a target speed corresponding to an inter-vehicle distance between a preceding vehicle that travels in front of the vehicle and the vehicle, or a predetermined speed set by a driver of the vehicle. The vehicle control device is configured to temporarily stop the travel control in response to the driver applying a brake of the vehicle, and to restart the travel control in response to the driver releasing the brake in the vehicle during travel by the travel control, and the vehicle control device includes a control circuit that does not restart the travel control, when the brake is released in a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device of a vehicle includes: an action plan creating part that creates an action plan for autonomous driving by the vehicle; and a distance detection part that outputs detection information on detection of an object. The action plan creating part includes a collision probability map setting part configured to, when the distance detection part detects an obstacle, determine a collision probability map, which is a two-dimensional map of a collision probability distribution representing likelihood of a collision between the vehicle and the detected obstacle in a two-dimensional space of a location and a speed. The action plan creating part is configured to create a current action plan based on the collision probability map, a predetermined target collision probability, and a current location and a current speed of the vehicle.
