Abstract: In an engine, a cylinder block and a cylinder head are connected with a crankcase in a forwardly inclined posture. A dual clutch connects or disconnects a transmission path of power of the engine to a transmission. An actuator chamber houses an actuator that controls a hydraulic pressure of the dual clutch. The actuator chamber is disposed on an upper surface of the cylinder block at a position posterior to the cylinder head and anterior to the crankcase in a vehicle longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A cylinder head of an internal combustion engine includes a first exhaust port section having an upstream inlet opened and closed by a first exhaust valve, a second exhaust port section having an upstream inlet opened and closed by a second exhaust valve, and a collective exhaust port section into which the first and second exhaust port sections merge at downstream ends thereof. In a fixing structure for an exhaust gas sensor, the sensor is fixed to the collective exhaust port section with its sensing tip in the port section. An exhaust gas guide part is formed, at a position upstream of the sensor, on an internal wall of the port section, opposite the internal wall to which the sensor is fixed, so as to bulge out to guide exhaust gas toward the sensor, whereby exhaust gas is effectively intermixed and directed to the sensor with resultant increased sensing accuracy.

Abstract: A breather chamber structure for an internal combustion engine wherein the breather chamber can be disposed compactly and the degree of freedom in the layout of the parts of the internal combustion engine can be raised. The breather chamber structure includes a crankcase, a cylinder body provided upwardly on the crankcase, and a breather chamber configured to separate oil from oil mist in the crankcase. The breather chamber includes a crankcase side breather chamber provided in the crankcase and open to a joining plane between the crankcase and the cylinder body, and a cylinder side breather chamber provided in the cylinder body and open to the joining plane.
