    Abstract: An optical communications apparatus, including a reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer, in which an optical deflection component may perform angle deflection on a plurality of first sub-wavelength light beams to obtain a plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams and a plurality of third sub-wavelength light beams, and propagate the plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams to a second optical switch array. A third wavelength dispersion component combines the plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams into a second light beam. A first output component outputs the second light beam from a dimension. A second wavelength dispersion component combines the plurality of third sub-wavelength light beams into a third light beam, and makes the third light beam incident to a third optical switch array. A second output component outputs the third light beam to drop a signal.

    Abstract: A light beam processing apparatus and a light beam processing method are described that improve utilization of the light beam. The light beam processing apparatus includes a light source, a polarization converter, and a polarizer. The light source is configured to provide a first light beam. The first light beam includes a second light beam in a first polarization state and a third light beam in a second polarization state. The polarizer is configured to transmit the second light beam and reflect the third light beam to the polarization converter. The polarization converter is configured to convert the third light beam into a fourth light beam. The fourth light beam is utilized for obtaining a fifth light beam in the first polarization state. The polarizer is further configured to transmit the fifth light beam.

    Abstract: A display apparatus and method are provided. The display apparatus includes a multi-focus image generation unit and a time sequence control unit. The multi-focus image generation unit is connected to the time sequence control unit. The time sequence control unit is configured to: generate a plurality of time sequence instructions that belong to a first switching period, and send the plurality of time sequence instructions that belong to the first switching period. The multi-focus image generation unit is configured to: receive the plurality of time sequence instructions that belong to the first switching period from the time sequence control unit, and generate a plurality of corresponding 3D image blocks at different distances based on the plurality of time sequence instructions. The plurality of 3D image blocks respectively corresponds to a 3D image and include different depth information for display in the first switching period.

    Abstract: One example power equalizer includes an input/output assembly, a multiplexer/demultiplexer, a pre-attenuation component, and a light beam modulator. The multiplexer/demultiplexer demultiplexes a first light beam into a plurality of first sub-wavelength light beams including a particular sub-wavelength light beam, and propagates the plurality of first sub-wavelength light beams to the pre-attenuation component. The pre-attenuation component makes the particular sub-wavelength light beam incident onto the light beam modulator at a preset angle. The light beam modulator performs angular deflection on the plurality of first sub-wavelength light beams to obtain a plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams. The pre-attenuation component then propagates the plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams to the multiplexer/demultiplexer. The multiplexer/demultiplexer multiplexes the plurality of second sub-wavelength light beams into a second light beam.

    Abstract: A method may be applied to a vehicle. The vehicle includes at least two devices to emit light that provide light energy by using a centralized light source, and each of the devices to emit light is connected to the centralized light source by using an optical waveguide. A control device in the vehicle may obtain a light-emitting instruction, where the light-emitting instruction carries information about a first optical power required by one target device to emit light of the at least two devices to emit light, or information about a first optical power required by each of a plurality of target devices to emit light; and allocate, based on the information about the first optical power, light emitted by the centralized light source, so that each target device to emit light obtains respective corresponding light by using the optical waveguide.
