    Abstract: A positioning method relating to the field of communications technologies includes: a positioning device obtains a positioning parameter set and sends the positioning parameter set to a positioning center, where the positioning parameter set includes multipath information of a to-be-positioned terminal, and the multipath information is used to position the to-be-positioned terminal. The positioning center may position the to-be-positioned terminal by using the multipath information of the to-be-positioned terminal.

    Abstract: A positioning method and a device, related to the communications field. In a 5G NR system, UE may be positioned only by measuring an uplink angle of arrival. The method includes: obtaining, by a location management function network element, a positioning measurement parameter set, where the positioning measurement parameter set at least includes at least two uplink angles of arrival that are obtained by measuring a reference signal sent by a terminal device; and determining, by the location management function network element, a location of the terminal device based on the at least two uplink angles of arrival in the positioning measurement parameter set.

    Abstract: A preamble-based locating method and a device are provided. The method includes: a location management function network element receives first indication information from a first network device, wherein the first indication information indicates a first random access channel resource; sends second indication information to a terminal device, wherein the second indication information indicates a second random access channel resource, and the second indication information further indicates the terminal device to send a preamble to the first network device and a second network device; sends a location information request to the first network device and each second network device; the location management function network element receives measurement information from both the first network device and each second network device; and the location management function network element determines a location of the terminal device based on the measurement information.

    Abstract: This application provides a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: A neighboring cell sends downlink reference signal resource configuration information to a serving cell. The serving cell sends a downlink reference signal measurement request including downlink reference signal resource configuration information to a terminal device. The neighboring cell and the terminal device transmit a downlink reference signal based on the downlink reference signal resource configuration information. The terminal device obtains a downlink reference signal measurement result. The terminal device sends the downlink reference signal measurement result to the serving cell. The serving cell sends the downlink reference signal measurement result to the neighboring cell, or sends, to the neighboring cell, beam information that is about a beam between the neighboring cell and the terminal device and that is determined based on the downlink reference signal measurement result.
