The method includes network initiated IP allocation (i.e. the network allocates different IPs to the UE) and UE initiated IP allocation (i.e. the UE directly requests an IP corresponding to a specific service). As such, the IP is selected and used based on consideration of continuity of the service to be supported by the UE.

摘要： A method and apparatus for registering the location of a terminal in a PS domain in a mobile communication network are provided, in which the terminal transmits a request message requesting registration of the location of the terminal to an MME of the mobile communication network, receives from the MME a response message including an eMSC indicator indicating an eMSC connected to the MME from among a plurality of eMSCs, and registers the location of the terminal to the eMSC indicated by the eMSC indicator included in the response message if the eMSC indicator included in the response message is different from an eMSC indicator stored in the terminal.

摘要： A method and apparatus for processing an IMS terminal's call request for real-time service and non-real-time service received over an IMS domain in a CSI terminal. When deciding to use a CS call for real-time service and an IMS session for non-real-time service, the CSI terminal sends an IMS session response for the non-real-time service. In the mean time, the CSI terminal generates a CS call request for the real-time service and sends the CS call request to an AS in an IMS domain. The AS sends the CS call request in association with the IMS session response to the IMS terminal, thereby completing a call setup. For the association, the AS sends its MSISDN to the CSI terminal and identifies from the MSISDN included in the CS call request and the IMS session response that the two messages are related to the IMS terminal's call request.

摘要： Provided is a handover method, in which a call manager of a network having a Circuit Switching (CS) network, a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, and an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, provides handover, from the LTE network to the CS network, to a terminal that uses one radio channel. The handover method includes upon receiving a request for handover from the terminal via a node of the LTE network, establishing a line to a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) of the CS network; sending, to the call manager, a request for a change in a session to another party's terminal in communication with the terminal, to establish an Internet Protocol (IP) bearer between the call manager and the other party's terminal; and sending a handover command to the terminal during the establishment of an IP bearer, to establish a radio channel to the base station of the CS network.

If the second terminal sends a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) request (INVITE) message to originate a voice service or a multimedia service including the voice service with the first terminal, a CSI Application Server (AS) of an IMS domain managing the first terminal separates a voice service-related component included in the request message from a multimedia service-related component, and generates and sends first and second request messages to the first terminal. Upon receipt of first and second response messages corresponding to the first and second request messages from the first terminal, the CSI AS generates a combined response message and sends the combined response message to the second terminal.

摘要： A system is provided that provides a voice call service over a Circuit Switching (CS) domain to a User Equipment (UE) that was receiving a service in a Packet Switching (PS) domain. A Mobile Management Entity (MME) sends a paging message to the UE to provide a service in the CS domain. The MME sends a suspend request message requesting suspension of the service being provided to the UE in the PS domain, upon receiving a report message indicating that the UE has switched to the CS domain. A gateway suspends the service in the PS domain upon receiving the suspend request message from the MME.
