摘要: A distributed processor control system for use with a microimage recording apparatus includes a system control unit, a machine control unit and an operator control unit. The system control unit includes a microprocessor that provides supervisory or master control for the overall distributed control system. The machine control unit includes at least one microprocessor for controlling the operations of a plurality of electromechanical components within the microimage recording apparatus in response to commands and parameters provided by the system control unit and for providing status and error information and requests to the system control unit. The operator control unit includes a microprocessor for controlling the display of operational status and error indications and messages for viewing by an operator and for receiving manual operator entries for enabling normal operation of and diagnostics for the microimage recording apparatus. A shared memory device is utilized for bidirectional communications between the system control unit and the machine control unit. An asynchronous, bidirectional serial link enables bidirectional data transfer between the system control unit and the operator control unit.

摘要: A lightweight folding wheelchair is provided with relatively wide range adjustment capability and/or adaptation to meet the specific needs of an individual wheelchair user. The folding wheelchair includes left and right tubular frame sections which are connected by pivoting cross braces to permit rapid movement between folded and unfolded positions. The frame sections include a respective pair of camber plates carrying wheel bushings for quick release attachment of relatively large rear wheels for the wheelchair, wherein the camber plates are adapted for mounting in one of several different orientations on their respective frame sections to select the specific wheel camber angle. The folding wheelchair further includes improved armrests adapted for rapid and facilitated positional adjustment with minimum dexterity requirement. Fabric side panels for the wheelchair are provided for easy installation without the use of tools and conveniently include accessible pockets for storage of selected items. Wheel lock units are also provided for engaging the large rear wheels to prevent chair movement wherein these wheel lock units can be mounted in alternative positions as desired by the wheelchair user.

摘要: Front and rear downwardly extending arm rest support tubes are received in correspondingly positioned front and rear vertical receiving tubes on the side of a wheelchair. An integral S-shaped rod has an upper horizontal extending portion arranged to project into registered openings in the front telescoping tubes so that an arm rest on the arm rest support tubes can be positioned at a selected height and locked in such adjusted position. The S-shaped rod also functions as a handle to be engaged by the web of a patient's hand between the thumb and forefinger. Urging of the S shaped rod forwardly unlocks the tubes permitting vertical adjustment. A spring biases the S shaped rod rearwardly to effect automatic locking of the tubes in the adjusted position when the handle portion of the rod is released.

摘要: A microimage recording apparatus of the type utilizing an elongated master film strip movable along a master film processing path and a duplicate film strip movable along a duplicate film strip processing path for making duplicates of successive developed image areas on the master film strip includes a duplication station having a support for the master film strip to position a developed image area thereon in a duplication position along the master film strip path. Support is provided for the duplicate film strip along a segment of the duplicate film processing path merging with the master film strip path at the duplication station. The master and duplicate film strips are biased together in close contact at the duplication station against a glass platen and light is passed through a developed image area on the master film strip to create a latent, duplicate image area on the duplicate film strip for subsequent development. A master film transport system is provided for moving successive developed image areas into and out of the duplication position along the segment of merged film paths and a separately controlled duplicate film transport apparatus is provided for positioning and moving the duplicate film into and out of the duplication position for exposing the duplicate film through a selected developed image area on the master film strip to make one or more duplicates thereof.
