    摘要: A reciprocatory piston type compressor having a cylinder block in which a plurality of compression chambers permit a plurality of reciprocatory pistons to be reciprocated so as to compress a refrigerant gas drawn from a suction chamber formed in an end housing into the compression chambers through suction ports of a valve plate, opened and closed by a suction valve mechanism with a plurality of resilient radial suction valves having a free end thereof, respectively, and surrounded by cutoff slots formed in a suction valve sheet, and to discharge the compressed refrigerant gas from the compression chambers into a discharge chamber formed in the end housing through discharge ports of the valve plate, opened and closed by resilient discharge valves. Each of the cutoff slots of the suction valve sheet has a part thereof adjacent to the free end of each suction valve which is radially widened to retain a predetermined amount of the compressed gas by which the suction valves are smoothly separated from the valve plate toward the open position thereof and rest on the walls of radial recesses formed in the end of the cylinder block during the suction stroke of the compressor.

    摘要: A swash plate type compressor includes a cylinder blocks having a crank case which communicates with a suction port and a plurality of bores formed therein. The ends of each bore are covered with a pair of housings. The bores communicate with discharge chambers. A drive shaft is rotatably placed within the cylinder blocks. A swash plate is rotatable in the crank case, and is mounted on the drive shaft. A plurality of pistons are drivably coupled to the swash plate, and are reciprocotable in their respective bores. As the pistons reciprocate, a refrigerant in the crank case is sucked into each bore and is compressed therein. The compressed refrigerant is discharged into the discharge chambers from the bores. A passage for transporting the refrigerant between the discharge chambers is formed along the axis of the drive shaft. Seals are provided between the cylinder blocks and the drive shaft for sealing the gap between the discharge chambers and the crank case.

    摘要: A swash plate type compressor is provided with a plurality of cylinders and a front and rear cylinder blocks having a crank case connected to a suction port. The cylinder blocks are connected to a front and rear housing sections in order to cover the cylinders. Each housing section contains a discharge chamber. A drive shaft is rotatable supported by the cylinder blocks. One end of the drive shaft is sealed within the front housing. A swash plate is mounted on the drive shaft and is rotatably disposed within the crank case. A plurality of two-head pistons engage the swash plate via a pair of shoes. The pistons move within their respective cylinders in cooperation with the swash plate. The refrigerant is sucked into each cylinder via a suction passage, and is then compressed therein. The refrigerant is discharged into the external refrigerating circuit through the front and rear discharge chambers, .and the front and rear discharge ports. A discharge passage is provided within the drive shaft, and interconnects the front and rear discharge chambers. A valve is provided at one end of the discharge passage to control the opening of the discharge port in relation to the pressure difference between the front and rear discharge chambers.

    摘要: A compressor has a swash plate supported on a drive shaft for an integral rotation. The swash plate is coupled to a plurality of pistons reciprocally moveable in a cylinder block to compress gas therein. Reaction force of the compressed gas applied to the piston and causing axial load acting on the swash plate and the drive shaft is buffered by buffer structure. The buffer structure comprises a first bearing interposed between a first surface of the swash plate and the cylinder block. The buffer structure has a second bearing interposed between a second surface of the swash plate and the cylinder block. One of the bearings is arranged to be flexibly deformable to absorb the axial load while the other bearing is arranged to be rigid to receive the axial load and transmit the axial load to the cylinder block.

    摘要: A multi-piston swash plate type compressor with an internal lubricating arrangement for an air-conditioning system used in a vehicle such as an automobile including a cylinder block body having a swash plate chamber formed therein receiving a swash plate, cylinder bores formed therein for receiving pistons, and a central axial bore formed therein for receiving a driving shaft, the driving shaft being rotatably supported in the axial bore by radial bearings provided therein and by thrust bearings provided around the shaft at the sides of the swash plate. The compressor has suction and discharge chambers communicated with the cylinder bores through reed valves. The swash plate chamber is fed with a refrigerant inclusive of a lubricating oil from the air-conditioning system, and the refrigerant is then fed to the suction chamber through the axial bore. The thrust bearings have a race element surrounding the shaft, a clearance between the race element and the shaft being locally widened for increasing a flow rate of the refrigerant to be introduced into the axial bore through the thrust bearings.

A swash plate which moves in responsive to the drive shaft is arranged in a crank chamber defined in a pair of cylinder blocks. Ring washers are held between both bosses of the swash plate and seats formed on both cylinder blocks. Wedge-like clearances are formed between the washers and the seats of the cylinder blocks for the effective introduction of the refrigerant gas by the yawing of the swash plate which occurs as the compressor runs. At this time, the washers, together with the lubrication oil mist contained in the refrigerant gas, constitute the dynamic bearing to support the swash plate and permit the relative movement of the swash plate to the cylinder blocks.

    摘要: A swash plate compressor in which a drive shaft is rotatably supported in a cylinder block having a crank chamber. The swash plate is rotatably disposed on the drive shaft. Thrust bearings are individually fitted between the movable thrust receiving faces of the swash plate and the stationary thrust receiving faces of the cylinder block. As the drive shaft rotates, the swash plate likewise rotates and reciprocates a piston to compress a refrigerant gas. Annular movable ridges are formed on the front and rear side faces of the swash plate concentric around the drive shaft. Stationary ridges are formed concentrically with the movable ridges on the cylinder blocks to face the individually movable ridges. The stationary ridge has a smaller radius than that of the movable ridge. At the front and rear sides of the swash plate, the facing circumferential portions of the movable ridges and the stationary ridges are individually formed with movable and stationary thrust receiving faces for supporting the elastically deformable thrust bearings. At least one of the movable and stationary ridges are formed with escape faces so as to merge into the movable and stationary thrust receiving faces, for establishing escape faces normally between the corresponding thrust bearings. These escape faces expand and reduce the gaps when the thrust bearings are elastically deformed by the action of the swash plate due to the compression reaction forces caused by the reciprocation of the piston.
