    摘要: A dual track conveying system for transporting workpiece carriers, has a main conveyor and, an auxiliary conveyor arranged parallel to the main conveyor. At least one transverse conveyor is arranged between the main conveyor and the auxiliary conveyor. The transverse conveyor is pivotally attached to the main conveyor. The moveable end of the transverse conveyor pivots up-and-to transfer the workpiece carriers from the transverse conveyor to the auxiliary conveyor. The transverse conveyor has a short belt and a long belt. The short belt is shorter than the long belt by the width of the auxiliary conveyor. A passive conveying track section following the path of the short belt is located in between the belts of the auxiliary conveyor to support one end of the work piece carrier when the moveable end of the transverse conveyor is in the raised position.

    摘要: An elongated housing 10 has a positioning rod 13 located therein, slidable with respect to the housing. A guide rod 14 slides parallel to the positioning rod. The guide rod and the positioning rod are coupled together by end elements 38, 39. The housing 10 is formed with recesses or bores 11, 12 for the positioning rods 13, 14 and additionally is formed with bores to transfer energy at power level for subsequent positioning or operating units, as well as to permit transfer of control signals. The positioning rod can be operated by fluid pressure by coupling a piston, slidable within its operating space and forming a cylinder, or by an electrical rack-and-pinion or worm screw drive. The unit is compact and closed towards the outside, suitable for modular association with similar or other units, and devoid of external flexible hoses or cables interfering with access thereto.

    摘要: To isolate shock deburring valve units in a shock deburring system and prevent back-flash or backfire during operation of the deburring system, and absorb thermal and pressure shocks exerted against the deburring valves--which, in operation, are closed--at least one of the valves is separated from the mixing chamber where the explosive force arises by a connecting line which is long enough and encloses therein a volume of the respective gas which is such that under the pressure due to an explosion in the mixing chamber, the gas can compress within the respective connecting line to thermally isolate the valve from the chamber and provide a compressible thermally isolating shock cushion for the respective valve to protect the valve against thermal damage and shock. Preferably, the valve is constructed to use a resiliently deformable sealing material between a portion of the valve bore and the valve sleeve in which a cylindrical insert is located so that pressure transferred to the closed valve will result in inwardly directed radial pressure upon deformation of the deformable substance over the sleeve and against the cylindrical projection to provide a reliable seal and, should damage to the sealing material result, permit self-healing of the respective valve.

    摘要: Deburring of metal articles and parts in a combustion chamber process is accomplished in a machine requiring only a short stroke to open and close the combustion chamber in the processing of a series of articles or parts. Only the cap plate of the combustion chamber is fixed to the upper part of the vertical frame of the machine, it being provided with the inlet for the combustion gases, and the hollow cylinder and bottom plate form a mating unit of the combustion chamber, of which a number may be provided for sequential operation, which may travel into the work position and out of it on conveyor rails. Compression to seal the parts of the combustion chamber together during combustion processing is provided by a hydraulic or pneumatic piston drive mounted on the bottom portion of the frame to bear against the bottom plate of the particular interchangeable combustion chamber unit that is located in the work position.
