    摘要: An axial plain bearing assembly includes a thrust ring provided for common rotation with a rotary component. The thrust ring has a radial seal face on an end face thereof for co-operating with a radial seal face of a non-rotational seal ring of a gas-lubricated mechanical face seal assembly for sealing said rotary and stationary components against each other. A plurality of peripherally spaced gas-pumping grooves is formed in at least one of the radial seal faces of the thrust and non-rotational seal rings. A mass ring connected with the thrust ring is provided at an axial distance from the thrust ring. The mass ring is configured and adapted to exert a balancing force on the thrust ring under centrifugal forces acting on the mass ring during common rotation of the mass and thrust rings to compensate for thermal distortion of the thrust ring during operation.

    摘要: An axial plain bearing assembly includes a thrust ring provided for common rotation with a rotary component. The thrust ring has a radial seal face on an end face thereof for co-operating with a radial seal face of a non-rotational seal ring of a gas-lubricated mechanical face seal assembly for sealing said rotary and stationary components against each other.     摘要: An arrangement of a shaft with a slip-ring seal mounted thereon is disclosed. The slip-ring seal (3) comprises a pair of cooperating slip rings (4,5), the sealing faces of which define a sealing gap (6) between them. One of the slip rings is mounted on the shaft (2) with torque transmission from a drive element (9) mounted on the shaft, whilst the other slip ring is provided for fixed mounting on a stationary component. The arrangement is characterised in that the drive element (9) comprises a tubular drive housing (11), extending over the external circumference of the slip ring (4) with a radial gap (12) and a passage (13) for introduction of a flow medium is provided, opening out at one end in a chamber (A), defined by the drive housing (11), which drains out through the radial gap (12), whereby the radial gap forms a flow path for the flow medium which terminates at or near the sealing gap (6).

    摘要: A mechanical face seal assembly comprises at least a single pair of seal rings (4, 5) whose opposed seal faces (9, 10) are held together in sealing engagement, one of the seal rings is non-rotatable while the other is provided for rotation in common with a rotary component (2). The two seal rings are formed of a SiC material to which a graphite component is added for at least one of the seal rings. The graphite component is provided in particulate form in a proportion of between 1.0 and 4.0 Vol % in a SiC matrix material comprising SiC crystals having a grain size of between 5 and 1500 μm. The grain size of the graphite particles amounts to between 20 and 200 μm.

    摘要: A method for connecting a probe whose electrical connections end on a circuit board that can be introduced into a receptacle of a connector plug that comprises two half-shells which carry on sides facing one another the mating contacts for the connections of the circuit board and between them form a receptacle for the circuit board, the half-shells being held together under tension by way of a U-shaped spring which surrounds them. Creation of the join can be substantially simplified, with no risk of damage to the parts, by the fact that the connector plug is introduced between two displacing jaws and is positioned such that spreader extensions of the displacing jaws are directed toward the opening of the spring; that by opposite-direction displacement of the spreader extensions introduced into the opening of the spring, the spring is spread apart over a predefined displacement; that the circuit board is introduced into the receptacle, which can now be enlarged, between the half-shells; and that the circuit board is then, as a result of contraction and/or extension of the spreader extensions, held under tension between the half-shells of the connector plug by way of the released spring.
