    Abstract: Utilizing a data cable infrastructure to provide power includes a detector to determine whether data cables in the data cable infrastructure are being used by a data service provider, a circuit to determine an amount of power that can be provided on each of a number of wires within the data cables, and an adjustable power supply of a power system to selectively provide power over the wires within the data cables in the amount determined by the circuit and based on whether the detector determines the data cables to be in use by the data service provider.

    Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a headset is described. The headset includes a sensory input device and a pad surrounding the sensory input device. The pad includes a thermo-electric cooling (TEC) device having a first side and a second side. The first side is to cool and the second side is to heat when a voltage is applied to the TEC device. The pad also includes a cooling layer in contact with the first side of the TEC device and a heat spreading layer in contact with the second side of the TEC device. The pad also includes an enclosing material enveloping the pad.

    Abstract: An electronic pointing device includes a housing. In addition, the electronic device includes a position transducer coupled to the housing. Further, the electronic pointing device includes a plurality of electrical switches coupled to the housing. Still further, the electronic pointing device includes a cover plate removably coupled to the housing. The cover plate includes a plurality of holes, each hole aligned with one of the plurality of electrical switches. The electronic pointing device also includes a plurality of button members. Each button member is removably disposed in one of the holes of the cover plate and disposed to engage the corresponding, aligned electrical switch to actuate that electrical switch.

    Abstract: In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may include receiving a temperature reading from a sensor coupled to the head mounted unit. A delta may be calculated based on the temperature reading and a predetermined temperature. A thermo-electric cooling device may be activated based on the delta surpassing a threshold. The thermo-electric cooling device utilizes thermally conductive plates, padding and fabric to transfer thermal energy.
