    摘要: A hydrogen storage electrode for use as an anode of an alkaline battery and a process for producing such electrode are disclosed. According to the process, firstly particles of hydrogen storage alloy powder with maximum particle size of 50 .mu.m is prepared. The alloy powder particles are then made into microcapsules by electroless plating with copper amounting to 10%-20% by weight with respect to the sum of the alloy powder and the plating copper. With an electric current collector placed in contact with the copper-plated alloy powder set in a die cavity of a molding press, the molding dies are closed to press and the copper-plated powder and the current collector for bonding them together thereby to form the hydrogen storage electrode. Pressure exerted during the pressing is applied to such an extent that the porosity of the resulting compact of the pressed alloy powder falls in the range of 10% to 25%.

    摘要: An image forming process comprises the steps of conducting recording on a recording medium provided with an image-receiving layer and laminating a thermoplastic film onto the image-receiving layer to smooth the surface of the thermoplastic film by a heating and pressurizing device and to bond the back side of the thermoplastic film onto the image-receiving layer. An image forming apparatus comprises an ink-jet head for conducting recording on a recording medium, a laminating section for laminating a thermoplastic polymer onto a recorded recording medium, and a heating and pressurizing device for heating and pressurizing the thermoplastic film to smooth the surface and to bond the back side of the thermoplastic film onto the image-receiving layer.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image recording sheet and a covering-layer-forming material of the image recording sheet for recording a predetermined image by an image recording apparatus of the ink jet method or the like, and provides the image recording sheet and the covering-layer-forming material of the image recording sheet that permit a covering layer to be formed on an ink receiving layer easily and at low cost, that permit the covering layer to cover the ink receiving layer firmly, that are free of occurrence of the damage such as peeling of the covering layer off the ink receiving layer or the like, and that permit recording to a high-quality and analog-look image, i.e., an images like a silver-salt photograph. For realizing it, the present invention provides the image recording sheet used for recording the image in the ink receiving layer formed on a surface of a base material by the image recording device of the ink jet method or the like and covering surfaces of the ink receiving layer and image by a covering layer to record the predetermined image, wherein the covering layer is formed by transferring a covering layer formed in a separable state on a release sheet, directly onto the ink receiving layer, or with a transfer auxiliary layer in between, or with a preformed covering layer of the same material as the covering layer in between.
