    摘要: A sublimation type thermosensitive image transfer recording medium which can be used in repetition, comprising a support; a dye supplying layer formed on the support, comprising a sublimable dye and at least one binder agent in which the sublimable dye is dissolved or dispersed; and an image transfer facilitating layer formed on the dye supplying layer, comprising the sublimable dye and at least one organic binder agent in which the sublimable dye is dissolved or dispersed, the dye supplying layer and the image transfer facilitating layer being structured in such a manner that when the dye supplying layer and the image transfer facilitating layer are separately formed on a substrate, and the layers are separately superimposed on the same receiving sheet, with application of an equal quantity of thermal energy thereto, the amount (weight/unit time.unit area) of the sublimable dye transferred from the dye supplying layer to the receiving sheet is greater than the amount (weight/unit time.unit area) of the sublimable dye transferred from the image transfer facilitating layer to the receiving sheet.

    摘要: A sublimation type thermosensitive image transfer recording medium and a thermosensitive recording method using the sublimation type thermosensitive image transfer recording medium are disclosed, which comprises a support, an ink layer formed on the support, comprising (a) a dye supplying layer formed on the support, comprising a sublimable dye and at least one binder agent in which the sublimable dye is dispersed in the form of undissolved granules, and (b) an image transfer facilitating layer formed on the dye supplying layer, comprising the sublimable dye and at least one organic binder agent in which the sublimable dye is dissolved, in which the dye supplying layer and the image transfer facilitating layer are constructed in such a manner that (i) the concentration of the sublimation dye in the dye supplying layer is greater than that of the sublimable dye in the image transfer facilitating layer or (ii) the diffusion coefficient of said sublimable dye in the dye supplying layer is greater than that of the sublimable dye in the image transfer facilitating layer.

    摘要: An information recording medium is composed of a support; a thermosensitive recording layer provided at least on one side of the support, the thermosensitive recording layer being composed of a matrix resin and an organic low-molecular-weight material which is dispersed in the matrix resin, the transparency of the thermosensitive recording layer being reversibly changeable depending upon the temperature thereof; and a thermal transfer image receiving layer for thermal printing thereon by thermal transfer recording, which is provided at least on one side of the support, opposite to the thermosensitive recording layer. A printing method using the above information recording medium is also provided.The thermosensitive recording layer and the thermal transfer image receiving layer may be replaced by a single sublimable material receiving reversible thermosensitive recording layer which have the two functions of the thermosensitive recording layer and the thermal transfer image receiving layer.

    摘要: Thermal recording structure and a method of thermal recording wherein a desired sublimation dye image is formed on an information recording medium provided with a thermal recording layer having a sublimation dye accepting function on at least one surface of a base substrate. The transparency of the thermal recording layer is reversible depending upon temperature to which the medium is heated. At least the sublimation dye image portion of the medium is heated to a temperature sufficient to reverse the transparency of the transfer image.
