    摘要: Embodiments of the invention use a gas flow to prevent adherence of a coating to portions of an engine block adjacent to a cylinder bore being coated with the coating. Embodiments may be particularly useful for applying a coating on the inner surface of the cylinder bores in one cylinder bank while protecting cylinder bores in an opposing cylinder bank, e.g., in a V-type engine. One method of applying a coating to an engine block comprises spraying the coating on an inner surface of a first cylinder bore of the engine block. The method further comprises shielding a second cylinder bore of the engine block from the sprayed a coating with a gas flow while spraying the coating on the inner surface of the first cylinder bore.

    摘要: An engine block coating system for applying a coating to an engine block includes a work stand, a coating gun, and a first nozzle. The work stand supports the engine block. The coating gun discharges coating on an inner surface of a first cylinder bank. The first nozzle discharges gas from a second cylinder bank to a crankcase side of the first cylinder bank and the second cylinder bank such that the second cylinder bank is shielded from the coating. The coating gun and the first nozzle are arranged relative to each other such that gas discharged by the first nozzle is discharged toward the coating to alter a direction of the coating by the gas discharged by the first nozzle directly contacting the coating such that the coating would otherwise contact the cylinder bore of the second cylinder bank upon stopping discharge of the gas by the first nozzle.

    摘要: The present invention provides a compound a piperidine derivative having excellent histamine receptor antagonistic action, which is useful as active ingredients of a pharmaceutical composition, especially an antihistamine. The piperidine derivative of the present invention has a potent histamine receptor antagonistic action. Further, the compound of the present invention shows low brain transfer even in a cerebral receptor binding test where a mouse is orally administered with the compound, so that the compound has preferred properties of alleviating side effects in the central nervous system, such as drowsiness. The piperidine derivative of the present invention is very useful as a novel antihistamine having smaller side effects in the central nervous system, such as drowsiness.
