    摘要: A deposition method includes: introducing a gas into an airtight container containing electrically insulated raw material particles to generate an aerosol of the raw material particles; transferring the aerosol to a deposition chamber through a transfer tubing connected to the airtight container, the deposition chamber having a pressure maintained to be lower than that of the airtight container; injecting the aerosol from a nozzle mounted on a tip of the transfer tubing toward a target placed on the deposition chamber to cause the raw material particles to collide with the target, thereby causing the raw material particles to be positively charged; generating fine particles of the raw material particles by discharge of the charged raw material particles; and depositing the fine particles on a substrate placed on the deposition chamber.

The method is characterized by tribochemically depositing (214) solid lubricant substance directly onto the rough curved surface in transverse directions. A mechanical element has a curved surface. The curved surface has a surface layer of a tribochemically deposited solid lubricant substance. The mechanical element is obtainable by the above method. A tool for manufacturing of such a mechanical element comprises a support portion, at least one tool working surface, means for providing a force pressing the tool towards the curved surface and driving means for moving said at least one tool working surface in two different directions along said curved surface. The working surface comprises an oxide, carbide and/or suicide of an element capable of forming a stable sulfide.

The process comprises applying a roughening agent to the coated aluminum wheel surface via an application means. The roughening agent comprises grit powder, preferably iron or alumina grit, or plastic media and the application means comprises blasting, spraying, or painting. The invention lowers the gloss of the coating without reducing its overall performance. A wheel having a coated surface with a low gloss and a low gloss coating are also disclosed.
