The reader controller is provided between the printer controller and the engine controller so as to be in communication with both the printer controller and the engine controller, and so as to control an acquisition right to use the engine controller with the printer controller.

摘要： An image formation device, such as a printer, forms an image in a transfer format. The image formation device is configured to execute a predetermined down sequence to prepare the device for the next image formation operation after completion of an image formation operation. Alternatively, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, the device is configured to execute a blank rotation sequence instead of executing the down sequence after completion of an image formation operation. The device may have the ability to form an image from different image generation sources. A determination of whether an image formation operation switches from one image generation source to using another image generation source may be based on whether the predetermined condition is satisfied. The predetermined condition may be that the sizes of the images formed using each image generation source are equal. The down sequence may include a density control for stabilizing a cleaning operation inside the device and an output density of the device. The blank rotation sequence may not include the density control. The device may also be configured to restart an image formation operation after the blank rotation sequence.

摘要： It is an object to provide an image processing apparatus which can obtain an image reproduction that accurately corresponds to an original color when an ordinary color original is read and which can obtain an accurate marker edition result when a marker original is read. When a color scanning mode to read the color image is selected, an original ground removal by a prescan is not performed. When a marker edition scanning mode to read the marker original is selected, the original ground removal is executed. Thus, a color reproduction which accurately corresponds to the original is executed in the color scanning mode. In the marker edition scanning mode, the color recognition of the marker color is accurately performed without being influenced by the ground color.

摘要： An image processing apparatus prevents the misdetermination of a read color and allows correct marker edition. A marker registration circuit reads and register color data marked by a predetermined color marker and a color determination circuit compares the color data registered and the read color data at the reading of the document sheet to determine a color code of the marker color. An area determination circuit determines whether an area being read belongs to a normal area, a line area or a paint area and an output color determination circuit determines a color to be outputted in accordance with the color code and the area being read.
